Just found this hidden gem! ALL their meat (beef-chicken-lamb) is HALAL!!! ❤️❤️ Love their menu, burgers/sliders, tacos, Kababs, shawarma, seafood, vegetarian and so much more! Many healthy options!! Such great services!! And loved the ambience especially the patio seating!!

Foods great! Service is awesome & super friendly. Small place but clean & nice. You can take out or eat in. They also have a nice patio with heaters & 2 large screen tvs playing sports. I will def go back. Lots of food to choose from very fresh & great tasting.
There's something about restaurants who make claims like "best fish taco in town" - that's a lot of confidence and they've set some expectations that Fresh of the Boat didn't live up to. Customer service- she claims her name is Anise, whoever she was, got my order wrong. There wasn't a line and the restaurant was pretty empty so I'm not sure what her focus was on or what her problem was but she had some bad vibes and negative attitude from the beginning. I'm always willing to give a pass - sure, people have bad days all the time. Is it right to take it out on a customer? Of course not. But she's young and she has some learning to do so ok she gets a pass. Until she continued that same negative vibe delivering our food. One pass - ok cool. But two? I'm definitely going to have a problem. The food doesn't live up to its hype. I can appreciate anything fusion. Mexican Mediterranean fusion... okay cool, I'll give it a try. The battered fish taco had no batter! The rice wasn't Mexican style nor Mediterranean. Everything lacked flavor, everything! Including the baklava. I did call to speak to a manager after my horrible experience here. It's rare that I'll spend so much energy on such a bad experience. Was it any help? Not at all.

I had their plate menu. Comes with rice and grilled veggies/salad. Generous portion for the price. Staff are nice and they do bring the food to your table. I usually go here on the weekdays. Not too loud so you can still chat with your friends.

So glad I came back to this restaurant! Definitely order anything with fish. So flavorful and great portion! I was initially between the salmon and Mahi plate but the sever recommended the halibut - did not disappoint! Great service and plenty of seating inside and out.
Healthy food, delicious salsa bar, and friendly service! My go to is the ahí poke bowl with spicy ponzu, and my family loves the grilled fish combos with cauliflower rice. Great comfort food and healthy too!

we have been to this place since they opened in placentia and it's always been good.last night we ordered the fish & chips and fish tacos, we asked if the fish was cod they said yes. when it came out the plate did not look good, we asked of it was cod they said no out was pollock, then the shrimp tacos came out instead of fish. send them both back then came out the fish taco which was also pollock and was 80% batter with very little fish, and it was not good at all. we would have overlooked that normally except for the managers response and attitude he was sitting on an a table with his laptop and totally ignored our complaint when the server told him like nothing happened. so I asked the server he said the mana said we changed the fish and we do not comp the meal as if I was looking for that. That was the worst response from a manager I have ever seen. Hopefully the owners will train or replace Na bad management.

January 13 2024 trying a new place for lunch. Found this place on yelp.com decided to give it a try excellent customer service really nice establishment had the mahi taco with the cauliflower rice side of fries and a fried fish taco double fries two iced teas about $35 or so, the food was delicious. I have to say I really enjoyed the cauliflower rice. A patron was telling me that it was good so I decided to try it. It was very good. He told me to try the fillet next time I think I will I highly recommend this place the food is very delicious, excellent customer service really nice establishment definitely will be back. Keep up the great work bon appétit

The food is exceptional! I'm a chef and I own a catering company so I know great food! Love how everything is seasoned to perfection, the portion is great and the flavors are amazing and to top it off it's healthy! I will be back definitely. The hummus is delicious and love the garlic flavor. The Barramundi VeraCruz style was phenomenal. Grilled veggies and side salad just so healthy and excellent! The variety of fresh ingredients on the plate was so refreshing!
