Cute pub atmosphere - food is carefully prepared with attention to detail. My lamb burger came out a little too red for my liking (I don't think I communicated very well that I wanted it rather well done not at all pink) and rather than just cook it more they brought me a whole new order. It was delicious! Fries are super crispy, well seasoned and everything is very fresh. We had a wonderful lunch! Wait staff very attentive but did not hover. Excellent all over experience.

The service was wonderful . The waitress that helped us yesterday for lunch was quick and attentive . After we ordered our food was out in less than 10 minutes. We ordered the Santa Fe Sandwich and fries , really good . I had the chicken Casper salad . Super yummy . It had the perfect balance of dressing to salad ratio .

Bricks was recommended to us by a winery we had visited. Old Town Placerville. We were seated immediately with our menus. Server came by with water pretty quickly. We ordered a Beet Goat Cheese salad, panko crusted fried green tomatoes over grits and an ahi tuna lettuce wrap, all to share. The salad was fabulous. Whatever the dressing was, it didn't over power the greens. The fried green tomatoes were ok. The grits kind of ruined the flavor of the tomatoes. If I ordered this again, I would ask to not have the grits included. The Ahi Tuna wrap was not what we expected at all. Thought we would have some nice ahi wrapped in small lettuce leaves with all the veggies that goes with something like this. The pineapple salsa was delicious. We got three huge helpings of ahi tuna....too much. We were never able to pick it up and eat it like a lettuce wrap. The tuna was good, but we ended up not being able to eat this huge serving and we felt bad so much would be thrown out. Would probably not order this again. We had a great server and the restaurant had a nice comfortable vibe to it. We might come back sometime and try something else

Whenever we are in Placerville bricks is a must for dining.Every time we’ve been here we get seated right away and we always end up with the best service. Today we ended up ordering a little bit of everything from fried green tomatoes to a Santa Fe turkey melt working our way through a white chocolate mousse infused with port wine and indulged on a Tito‘s flight.As always, everything was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend bricks when you’re in the Placerville area.Parking: There is limited street parking but there is also a few lots to park in. I’ve never had an issue finding parking.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly

I came in to watch the NCAA women's basketball final. I was "quieted" down by a male bartender for cursing. I was sitting at a barstool at the "bar" and he informed me that it was a family restaurant. Meanwhile I was at the bar, watching sports as a woman and enjoying myself using adult language, there were no children present. For me, it felt like a direct assault on me living as a normal human adult in America. The question is, if I were a man, would I have got the same response from him? What do y'all think I like this restaurant? I've been here many times, but have never experienced the hostility that I did this Sunday.

Love the creativity, however I feel that they overcomplicated their spinach artichoke dip by adding too many ingredients. The Figaro burger was delicious, however with a couple notes. The goat cheese overpowered the whole burger until most of it was gone, and I couldn't taste the fig marmalade at all. I'd still like to return to try other items on the menuDietary restrictions: Gluten free options
My brother his wife and daughter came to town.so we went to lunch at Bricks food was excellent as usual every time they visit I take them to a different restaurant in town. DNA brought us together. He found me and my sister his dad is our dad.

The fish and chips were great with amazing coleslaw! Wings were good. However, there were a couple of ants on the table. The staff seemed unhappy but not rude or anything. A little slow.Parking: Only twenty spots across the street. It said to pay after two hours. We took a chance. No ticket

Great experience for lunch! Was busy and we only noticed 1 poor waitress for the main dining area, but she did her best and was very friendly. My blackened chicken Caesar wrap was delicious! Lots of moist and flavorful chicken, I would definitely order this again. My hubby’s black bean burger was underwhelming, dry and bland. Skip this for something else. We both loved the sweet potato planks and they were very generous with our portions! We will return for sure.

Complete disaster. I placed a large order over the phone the day before for a company meeting and when I arrived to pick up my food the woman I spoke with didn’t pass the order onto the right person ? and I was told they didn’t have any order ? It sad when you can’t trust a business. The guy that helped pull it all together was kind and I appreciate him and they made the food fast. But in my opinion the food was gross. The chicken in my sandwich was tough and hard to bite into plus it just didn’t taste good. I will never return.
