Store was freezing, my two daughters couldn't even eat and we had to take our food to go. The staff was rude to my wife while she was ordering, and then continued to be rude to the guest that came in after us. The brisket on both my dish and my wife's were both just as cold at the store probably 55 degrees. Other than that the side dishes were delicious. Idk what happened to this location but for sure not the same experience it was last visit.

Our favorite stop on the way to Tahoe! Great BBQ, sides and service. Reasonable prices. Clean bathrooms. It's not fancy but it's tasty! If you like Texas-style BBQ this is your place!

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was appropriate to the food. They had country music playing which seemed to go with the barbecue. I had the spicy jalapeno cheddar sausage sandwich and my husband had the loaded baker (potato ?). His potato was huge. He couldn't eat it all. I would recommend Dickey's to anyone craving good barbecue.

Shout out to Noah for working with probably one of the most insufferable food service workers I've had the displeasure of interacting with. Came in 25 minutes before close and even after I made it clear I just wanted an order to-go (an order that took them less than 10 minutes to make), this balding, middle-aged man proceeded to give me the most attitude I've ever received for ordering two meals. They even left out one of our sides as if lacking basic human decency wasn't enough. I get your life sucks as you're working at a fast-food bbq place, but I am in no way inconveniencing you when you're being paid to be there till close anyways. I never have left a review before but I figured this would be a good first. But, despite that, Noah (our cashier) was incredibly friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Sorry we didn't tip you Noah. And I'm sure this place is great! Just not the man who clearly has issues and takes it out on everyone else.

Stopped here in the way home from Apple Hill and it was the best Dickey's I have ever been to hands down. The restaurant was clean and the decor was perfect for this BBQ place. The staff was friendly and inviting and the food was on point as well. We order 2 jumbo loaded baked potatoes with brisket...top notch. Tried their original, sweet and spicy BBQ sauces, all three had great flavor. Also ordered a brisket sandwich and a three piece order of their ribs with Mac and Cheese. Definitely gonna make this stop a tradition when we are out in the Placerville area!
