Staff was nice. Place was clean and easy to find. Food was delicious. Sesame chicken was nice and crispy with a nice sauce. Rice was spectacular and absolutely deliciously. gyoza was average, and the california roll was actually quite good! One of the better cali rolls i've ever eaten. Salad was okay. Dressing wasn't nice, and was kinda watery. Tasted almost like Italian, this is not Italian food! Overall recommend.

Very friendly and helpful counter person. Portions were plentiful. The salmon and sushi were great. The rice was delicious. There was a bit too much sauce for me, so next time I'll ask them to go easy on it.

I waited for about 10 min maybe a little less. Absolutely amazing the wait was not long at all. The atmosphere was very comfortable, watching the employees work was actually really cool. The main clerk at the front was so veey kind, not only with customer's but with how he communicated with his coworkers. The food tasted AMAZING ? COMPLEMENTS TO CHEF

Stopped by and ordered a Bento box with teriyaki chicken to go. Chicken was tender and tasty. I will substitute brown rice instead of the white rice next time as that's my healthy preference. Other than that, it was tasty and the price was right.

I don't know if there are new owners now but the food is not what it used to be. I ordered a chicken. Bento box and the chicken was dry and chewy. Tasted a little burnt. The other person I was with got the seafood platter and could not figure out what she was eating so poured soy sauce On it. It is not good anymore
I love the food here. GREAT service. I asked for extra terriyaki and it was provided with a smile at no additional cost. The Unagi was good, not too salty.

Small town spot with great service and a family atmosphere. Ordered the beef bowl on the way to Tahoe and it was solid. Beef was tasty and rice was made well. Clean place with a lot of locals there and the service was friendly. Nice spot to stop if you're hungry and in Placerville.
