I LOVE THIS PLACE! Scott is amazing and friendly. Don't pay attention to the old reviews. One of my favorite wine bars ever. A great place to have a few glasses of wine in a relaxing and welcoming environment! If I lived closer to Placerville, I would hang out here all the time!
We have been coming here to enjoy wine & listen to music since Scott took over. I must say that if you want a relaxing wine experience with his great Vinyl album collection you need to visit. He has many Beers too that are top notch!

f you're in Placerville on a Thursday through Sunday, you should definitely stop by The Wine Smith! They offer a great selection of wines and each glass is only $9! Scott is eager to find you a glass you like, and will let you sample before you make your choice. He also sells wine by the bottle if you fall in love with your choice. It's got local artists work displayed and music on a turn table. The Gregory Graham Chardonnay is fantastic!
