Great food! Service was mostly good, but poor communication hinged on one employee and cost the experience. I wouldn't let that dissuade you, food was great and location matched.

Decent Mexican food, however they are unable to accommodate Vegetarians and Vegans as their rice and beans are now cooked in lard/animal products. This is so frustrating because rice and beans can be so tasty without these products. It would be great if they could be a little more flexible and accommodating. Their guacamole is okay - overpriced however ($12) Salsa is amazing though!

Friendly, swift service. Delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine! Highway 50 close, steps to the charming old town business district, this restaurant is the perfect stop before or after an afternoon of antiquing.

Our first visit since ownership change and we were pleasantly surprised! Great service and the food was yummy!

This is probably the the only other restaurant I have been to that brings out salsa that not only has it's own distinct flavor, but also is spicy enough where I'm not asking my server to bring something more spicier than the tomato juice I often find in majority dine-in Mexican restaurants. I ordered fish tacos which were good, but the sauce was doused on each individual taco making the corn tortillas quickly soggy. That was my only complaint, but I still found the food of high quality.

Delicious dinners I had the chicken tacos they were fresh and delicious. My husband had the apple jalapeño carnitas and they were perfectly sweet! We tried the churros with caramel sauce and they were amazing! Highly recommend

Great ride and then a great lunch. This is probably some of the best Chili Verde I've had in a long time. Very tender and spiced just right. Rice and beans were good as well. Very attentive and efficient staff Definitely worth the stop.

Kind of disappointed. For one thing, for a Mexican restaurant not to offer either tamales or chili rellenos is unusual. The servers were pleasant, but we had to ask for silverware, and the waitress had to be convinced that we didn't have any. I had the fish tacos, which were tiny, though quite good. The water and chips came right away, and the chips were perfect--warm and crispy. My friends each had issues with their orders; though we agreed that everything tasted good.Overall, the menu had a lot of dishes that were innovative, I suppose, but they didn't cover the expected fare. The service was a bit disorganized. The Cantina wasn't bad, but I liked it much better when it was Tortilla Flats.

Food. Service. Atmosphere. All 10/10. Indoor outdoor seating reserved parking for free. The brunch was great and exploding with tons of meat. My wife and I agreed best done eggs EVER on the chilaquiles.

Been here twice, so far. Great lunch go-to. I'd love to try other things on the menu--they look so good, but the fish tacos are so good, I keep ordering them. My friend gets the fried avocado tacos and says they're wonderful. Yummy salsa with tortilla chips. Nice casual seating with some booths now. Good service. I almost hesitate to give a good review, because this place on Main is going to be busy once word gets out! ‍Enjoy.

We love this place. They have really good food and the servers are always friendly even if short staffed. The menu is a bit limited and they charge for chips and salsa unlike most Mexican restaurants, but they have always been willing to refill the salsa for us. I really love their brisket tacos.

Gave it another try, but ehhhhh, not so good. Had breakfast. The menu was very limited and overpriced. Breakfast burrito was served plain - a big blob, on the middle of the plate. No garnish --- Should have taken a photo. Service was terrible. Jeeze, they charge extra for chips. The main section was closed off and Sunday seating was in the bar. Would have given only one star but still want to support local businesses. Hopefully it will get better.

I was hoping for a better outcome. We went for lunch today. There was only one person taking care of seating waiting tables and working bar. Not sure how they expect to give good service with not enough help. We came in and she had three table already. Three more groups came in with us. When we didn't get any service or drinks. We left. All three tables that came in with us left too. I hate to see this. I feel bad for server but she needs to know how to handle a room. Let people know you are the only one and acknowledge them when you come in. I was a server many years ago so I know how it feels. We went down the street to another place had great service.

The food was decent but we did not appreciate several charges that were not disclosed: $3 for chips and salsa, and 4 other add ons for items not shown on the menu that we thought were included in the meal which added $11 to the cost of the meal.
