Our server was well-trained on this food allergen. “This place is definitely a one in a million' restaurant. Especially in SD where most restaurants are mediocre, bc , well, w all the tourists, they can just get away with it. Took my son for his 24th birthday (he asked to go here-again). The plates are shareable' sizes so a party of 4 can get 4/5 dishes and be set. We ordered a lot . The cucumbers. The broccolini. Both Wagyu steaks (4oz each). The Kare Kare. The chicken. The pig ears. The rib eye. The Wagyu fried rice. The Ube cream puffs. Cocktails. First. The burst of soo many unique flavors from every plate in every bite is just wow. You can taste the love ( and extremely fresh ingredients) in each dish! I bet there were 15 different ingredients in the cucumber salad. Amazing! Get it! The broccolini was cooked al dente with so many flavors as well. Completely different than cucumbers so get both! The Kare Kare was right up there with the Japanese Wagyu steak! It was art that melted in your mouth. Get it! The Wagyu. OMG. VERY PRICEY. However it tastes like Butta! Steak that melts in your mouth!!! Buy it. Splurge for at least one 4 oz serving! The other steaks were amazing as well! I wish I had the words to describe how amazing their steak and Wagyu are. yes! Get the Wagyu fried rice!! Trust me!! The pig ears w tofu were so crunchy in a plate just full of soo many unique ingredients. Such creativity in these dishes. Service-10. Almost forgot the dessert and drinks! Save room! Get the ube cream puffs. I promise you these end this meal perfectly! Ube is like a refreshing mousse that is not too sweet inside a cream puff pastry that is soo light. Get the mango cocktail too!!! Get any cocktail but the mango cocktail just hit perfectly during this experience. Went really well with the richness/flavirs of our meal. Total price w tip: $750. Work overtime. Get here. You won't regret.”

“WOW! I've never been to a speakeasy-style restaurant before, but this place might have just made me a convert. Not only is the decor gorgeous, but the VIEW IS BREATHTAKING. I went for a late dinner and was able to see the fireworks going off at Seaworld, which was such a treat! The food was also fantastic, namely the truffle butter (I could have eaten it with a spoon and I was genuinely holding myself back from literally licking clean the bowl it came in), but the best part of this place was the service. Jeff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and he even took the time to learn our names and thanked us for coming in. He was absolutely wonderful and is totally a reason to stop by. It was a wonderful place to spend a summer evening!”

“I like coming here for the farmers market every couple of months. I park a little ways down the street for 60 minutes and I end up walking a block or two down with my dog to stop and see what cool stuff they might have fun us. It's not a big market. No more than 10 vendors that sells non food items and no more than 15 food vendors. But on a sunny Saturday morning, with a nice breeze, and the sun shining, it's always a good way to kill a hour and enjoy life. Last time I came here in April 2024, I ended up finding some Moroccan oil that I dab on my skin as a perfume. There was an array of different smells and I smelled them all and ended up buying two of them! The time I came here before that, there was a vendor selling bandanna for dogs. I got my dog one. It says "I heart French Fries." So the vendors change each time and there's always one vendor that I end up spending time and eventually money at. Foodwise, I feel like it's mostly the same i.e lemonade and coffee stands, doughnuts, bacon wrapped hot dogs etc. I typically get a coffee if that or something I can share to hold me over. The prices for the food trucks aren't cheap. The value in it is okay.”

“We saw Amy Winehouse (jazz tribute) Under The Stars at Sunset Terrace - the 4th floor rooftop venue at the Hotel Intercontinental. Parking downtown is awful. ACE parking across the street on Bayfront or valet at the hotel if available are best bets. We ended up valeting after many loops around the hotel without luck. Elevator directly up to the 4th floor just outside the hotel entrance made getting there easy. Venue was intimate. Sound was okay. Windy on the rooftop. Would have also been better without chatting neighbors. Why go to a live musical performance to talk? Food service has opportunity. The menu posted is misleading. Only a limited menu (pizza and charcuterie board) plus canned beverages available at music venue. Full menu downstairs on first floor. Next time, well snack prior to show and drop into one of the nearby eateries post show. We went to Ruths Chris Streak-house for night caps, NY Strip, French fries and dessert. Everyone who worked the venue was super nice and helpful. I would go see a show here again; it was good fun. ???”

“Caleb is 10000000% the best server we have ever had in San Diego. He is attentive and personable, honestly top notch service with him. The views are great, food is fantastic but what made our experience over the top was Caleb. He deserves recognition for being as awesome as he is. Cant rave about him enough. Thank you Caleb!
