“We went here for my husband's birthday with family and it was a terrific experience. The service was excellent and the appetizers and entrees were all amazing. They even brought a delicious piece of their key lime pie with a birthday candle in for my husband. We will be coming back!!“
“I was really stoked to have found such a classic, while my way up the coastline. This place has the feel for the kind of mental imagery, or thought bubble, that comes to mind when you think of the phrase," local seafood restaurant," and the food definitely didn't disappoint us either. The entree portions leaned more toward large and the servings were generous in all areas of the menu, we felt like overall, it was a good value for the money and favoured the taste saved on the roof of a seasoned pallet, as well as, the satisfaction of the wide eyed stomach to the pockets of the people profiting behind the brand.“
“The salmon at California Fish Grill is always the best, but I think another thing that I like is the street corn and the zucchini. my go to spot for healthy food and you can never go wrong with it. in this location the inside has a really cool minimalistic vibe which makes for a really nice nightParking: Easy parking but you definitely have to come at the right time“
“When I say the catfish and macaroni salad is ???? believe me. Best fish market I've had in long while and the prices are very reasonable during this time. I would say the only thing I don't care for is the lunch specials not being available all day, but the owners are lovely ppl tho so I approve with a A++“
“My wife had looked at a few menus before our trip to the Santa Monica Pier and had her heart set on the clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl. Not wanting to order the same thing, I decided to try a Connecticut style lobster roll for the first time, and my son wanted some grilled white fish, so he got the kids rice bowl. All of us really enjoyed our meals and while yes, you're going to pay a little more because of the location, we thought it was a great value and a delicious meal!“
“Tangaroa Fish Market is a restaurant and fish market.I've been coming here for years and I always order for the oysters. Tangaroa Fish Market has a good selection, from different coasts (East, West, New Zealand, Baja, etc.) for a reasonable price. Another favorite is the Peruvian Ceviche. From the Fish Market, I'll grab the salmon burgers. Also, the Servers have the best personalities.“
“Crab-lovers: This place is for you! Best crab shack in SoCal. Colossal selection of live crabs. You pick it, the steam it. Manager is amiable and helpful. Staff are pros with cracking crab. They also leave white paper for you to cover the table. Great view of the ocean. But you have to leave a deposit for their clamps and hammers.“

“This place has some very delicious ? and ?. Their customer service is great!!! You don't even have to wait that long for your order. The only thing about going here in this area?? is when you pull up in the parking lot there is always about 2-3 young men that are standing out in the parking lot. Which make it alittle uncomfortable to go there.Parking: Their is always like 2-3 young.men just standing around in the parking area. Which is very uncomfortable.“
“Had a great meal with a group of friends here today. We had a group of about 30 with a bit of a classic car show before the meal.Restaurant staff were fantastic, food was too notch! I had a traditional fish and chips and they served it with a bottle of malt vinegar on the side. That's how it should be and I was impressed! The food was great, entire group orders taken and served quickly with no short cuts, everything was prepared properly and tasted great. Drinks were continually topped off and servers were a cheerful happy bunch. We were made to feel welcome and we enjoyed the whole experience.“
“Very tasty food. The food isn't cheap, but it's worth every dollar. The portions are very large. It was super tasty. The best fries so far in America. Very inconspicuous snack bar. However, there are seats available on the street.Vegetarian options: Vegan dishes are offered“
“My first review! My visit here last night was nothing short of a revelation in the art of sushi dining. Celebrating its 17th year, this gem of a restaurant has not just stood the test of time; it has set the bar for what authentic Japanese cuisine can embody. Though it is not your modern izakaya nor fine-dining luxury, it firmly facets itself as the "OG" restaurant in the diverse Japanese dining scene.Immediately upon entering, I observed details of its classic entity by old decos of art, calligraphy, signs, photos, and handwritten notes. It was an ambiance that exuded warmth. I immediately felt the history and dedication woven into the fabric of this place. The owners have crafted not merely a restaurant but a sanctuary for those who appreciate the finer nuances of Japanese culture and cuisine.I opted for the sushi combo course. Each piece of sushi was a testament to the chef's mastery over his craft, with every ingredient shining through in a delicate balance of flavors and textures with a properly curated course. All the nigiri boasted freshness in a blend of tastes that was above satisfactory by the plate. But what truly sets Sushi Anza apart is the heart and soul poured into every aspect of the dining experience. From the attentive, yet unobtrusive service to the meticulous presentation of the dishes, you can feel the love and dedication that the owners have for their craft. It's this personal touch combined with an "aged" ambience that transforms a meal into an experience. In a world where the genuine essence of Japanese cuisine can sometimes be lost amidst fusion and innovation, Sushi Anza stands as a beacon of tradition and quality.Overall, my first visit here was a nostalgic journey through the very essence of Japanese tradition, guided by the hands of those who know and respect it the most. I cannot recommend Sushi Anza enough and look forward to many more visits. I hope to regain the same authentic warmth, excellence, and quality that hallmarks the culinary gems of Torrance.“
“The food was really good. This was my first time there and I will be back again. Service was great and quick. All around the vibe there was good. I do recommend them if you are in the area. I got the cat fish and jumbo shrimp. The proportion was good and decent.“
“Catfish nuggets.....delicious. Fried snapper was good. This place is an order to go spot. Not a sit down and eat in restaurant. Will I go back next time I'm visiting LA? Absolutely. The only downside was they were out of potato salad. I would have liked to try that. My husband asked for macaroni salad and they gave him French fries....that wasn't a deal breaker though.“
“I ordered a three piece lunch with catfish. I also ordered an order of fried okra. I've never eaten here before, but it's kind of a hole in the wall, and I have found that most holes in the wall have the best food! I was greeted warmly, and my order was taken took about 15 minutes. When I got my food, I was very happy. It looked exactly like what I wanted it to look like and then I took my first bite after dipping it in tartar sauce and I was ecstatic. It was delicious it hit the spot perfectly. The tartar sauce was delicious. They only gave me one and I had to go back and get another three pieces of fish really demands to tartar sauce is I went back and expecting to pay for it and he gave it to me. Don't think that they're going to do that for everybody though I was a first time customer you know and I would have paid for another one. The fish is cooked perfectly. The only thing I would say is a little bit more seasoning maybe some lemon pepper but the fish was good and tender. I ordered catfish and it was banging! When and if I am in the area, I will go there again!“
“I decided to eat at this restaurant to try seafood dishes in Fisherman's Village. The atmosphere of the restaurant is above average. Despite some flies hanging out in the tree near the restaurant, I can still see the scenic view from where we sat. For the food, I ordered a lobster roll with french fries, panzerotti (fried pizza), and Raspberry Ice Tea. I am still unsure whether the lobster roll is genuinely lobster due to the lobster-crayfish scandal shown in Inside Edition, but it tasted delicious, creamy, and fresh from the sea. I am highly confident the lobster roll genuinely contains real lobster. The panzerotti was hot when touching this oily dish, but it was cheesy and savory. The filling (ham, cheese, and tomato sauce) complemented together into a melt-in-your-mouth experience. Finally, the Raspberry Ice Tea was sweet and refreshing; I can look at the beautiful ocean while drinking it. The service in the restaurant was A-Level; it felt like a family restaurant to me. Overall, I enjoyed the meals in the restaurant. I would recommend everyone coming to Fisherman's Village to give a shot at this restaurant.“
“This is my second time eating wings from here. Try it you will like it, it's not over season, but you can always put your own seasonings on it if you need to it's in the neighborhood. Also they have a variety of foods they got snapper they got shrimp they got a variety so take a look at it “
“Been on my list to visit ever since I arrived in LA and it did not disappoint. I ordered the fire-grilled shrimp & swai (seasonal menu) well-done with added avocado and it tasted so good. For me, there was enough protein to balance out the rice and I had half Cajun half garlic butter sauce which worked so well with the fish and shrimp. My only qualm is that I wish they gave you more sauce as it didn't really cover much.“
“Grabbed a 12pc Red Snapper Fish plus Shrimp Family Pack AND a 5pc Catfish plate TOGO. I live out of town and when crave good simple fried fish, this is where I always come. Crispy, not mushy, not super salty, that Crystal Louisiana style Hot Sauce to bring the flavor out. Delicious!“
“Great affordable prices for quality!! Fish tacos were huge! They actually forgot to add the salsa so it tasted a bit off. Should have realized it! But all in all still delicious with a perfect crunch.Nachos were also fantastic with the different cheeses and spicyyy salsa. The scallions were a new thang I never thought tot try on loaded nachos but it compliments it very well.Parking: easy if you park at the huge plaza where sprouts is. Less than a 5-10 min walk. Otherwise streeet/metered parking and paid parking structures all over downtown“
“The more I come here, the more I appreciate it. The portions are great, at a really fair price and I love everything I've tried. Really solid if you're trying to get protein on a budget.Parking: If you're coming during a really busy hour, there will be very few parking spots, but people are in and out quick so a spot opens up fast.“
“Yes, Have been a customer for years! I always get the Catfish Lunch.. It is just enough. The fish is cooked just right! How do they do that! A husband and wife team are the owners.. Nice folks.. You get a side and fresh slices of bread with your meal. Just like down South in the old days. Parking is Free. Limited! Parking on the street. Oh, you may eat there, but small area. Take to go and enjoy your meal with a nice glass of wine. ?No public bathroom and pay with $ Cash.. Bring cash! Smile.. Drop in and Note: You will Enjoy! Don“
“Okay, Mos brunch is absolutely stellar. Shout out to the super kind, funny, and witty as hell woman with the blonde hair who has been there probably as long as I have been alive. Awesome brunch, 3 dollar mimosas, and kitchen that cooks it up better than most breakfast spots. Love to sit on their patio and soak up the sun. If you want to do a little crawl, start at mos venture to harbor room, and finish at the beach. Miss the pool tables, but hey you gotta roll with the changes“
