“I have been coming here for over a decade and the food amazingly keeps getting better every time!!! It's insane. The owner busts his butt working the shop alone half the time. My cousins are Lebanese so I grew up with these specific Mediterranean spices and it brings me to my childhood every time. The portions are amazing and it's always ready on time. I've been getting take away since covid but he's reopened the dining area. Sitting in their outdoor seating area on a nice day is really lovely as well. Great service. Great food. Never disappoints.“

“I got the mushroom carne asada bowl and the hibiscus drink. I’m not vegan but this is one of my favorite restaurants in LA. The owner is lovely. The food is delicious and portions are big! These bowls aren’t just rice and some toppings, it’s a great balance of every ingredient. The drinks are perfectly sweet and refreshing. The seating outside is comfy and relaxed. I recommend this to anyone local or visiting!!! Check them out!“

“I always enjoy the food at Manhattan Bch Urban Plates. Everything is delicious, nicely presented and is hot when it arrives at your table. The restaurant is very clean and has a great ambiance. And I can’t say enough about Sandro. He is friendly, supremely attentive and leaves nothing to chance. Consider yourself lucky if Sandro is working the day you visit this location.“

“My partner and I went to the Alfalfa Larchmont location in October of last year on a whim. We wanted to find healthy, clean food for after we hiked to the Hollywood Sign. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious salads and wraps. The donut machine was down at that time, and we really wanted to try the gluten free donuts, so we vowed to visit the Santa Monica location on our next L.A. trip. On Sunday, we achieved that dream and got 3 gluten free donuts- the lavender, maple, and chocolate. My favorite was the maple! I got a buffalo goddess salad and my partner got a cobb wrap. I loved the salad because I am a sweet-potato head hah...I love the atmosphere of this place- the peachy colors and succulent plants. It feels so L.A. (I am saying this fondly as someone who grew up here). Our experience was fun and joyful. Also we recognized the person who served us at the counter (wish I had gotten the name), because it is was the same friendly person from the previous Larchmont trip. I just love this place!“

“Many who dine out know about the chicken sandwich craze which spread across the nation several years ago. From gourmet style to fast-food many eateries jumped in to offer their take. Le Coupe is no sleeper and from what I experienced ranks in the top of fried chicken with a twist. Many rave about Memphis style chicken and they should but Le Coupe uses its Louisiana Cajun heritage to make it a "must stop." Their sandwich is exceptional. If you're looking for basic fried chicken, this is NOT YOUR SPOT. Instead you will be treated to fried chicken drenched in a tasty hot, honey style sauce that is the perfect complement. The quality of the sandwich shines as while the chicken is superbly prepared, the bun, the slaw, the pickles take it to a new level. Some might raise an eyebrow over the $15 cost but again, this a'int fast food as you get what you pay for. Moving on, the rib of corn is so basic it's hilarious to mention. But, boy have they hit it out of the park with this appetizer. Ribs of corn are drenched in a mayonnaise chili sauce that makes it a very addictive dish. For $11, worth the experience. The potato salad (made with red potatoes) is fresh made (like the other items), very tasty and a nice presentation by being topped off with fresh chives. The drinks are another hit. Everything is freshly made. The lemonade was tasty and you could taste the quality. Again, at $6, you get what you pay for. LeCoupe is a tiny venue but cozy enough for several chairs, as well as a few outside. Everything is made from scratch but your order comes at a quick pace. Western and Melrose is a busy intersection, so the parking on Western can be tight so you will need some patience or street-smarts. Le Coupe has earned my business so if you're having the taste for some uniquely fried chicken (thighs or tenders) you can't go wrong with them. Price points may appear high but worth it based on the quality your receive.“

“Are you willing to work for your food? Are you willing to wait in a long line? If the answer is yes then please take the time to try Apollonia's. Their hours are strange and they are cash only in the restaurant but it's worth it.This is best thin slice pizza I have had in California. They also have incredible Detroit style slices. The pepperoni vodka slice is a must try.Very little parking.Parking: Very little parking. Small lot that is always full.“

“Highly recommended!! Probably the best Katsu I have ever had since I lived in LA. I ordered several fried appetizers and Katsu plate. All of them are freshly made and tasty.1. Pork Katsu: unlike some other Katsu, this has light breading. The pork is juicy inside crispy outside.2. The fried mushroom is same as the Katsu, very juicy inside and without compromise the crispness outside.3. Waffle fries is not too much surprise tho as it is like other waffle fries you can get from somewhere else. With this price point, I will definitely come back for more!“

“Food was great. I got the grilled steak, beet salad with goat cheese, and mashed potatoes. The portions were good and the food was bomb. The place is clean and next to the parking structure. Staff was really friendly, Tomas in particular was helpful and sweet. Would definitely come back again.“

“To start off, I normally don’t leave reviews but wow. The way I was treated from the beginning walking in up to the food was A1 , A++. It was my first time here was just in the area for work. Chose this spot because of their reviews & they didn’t disappoint. Walked in was immediately greeted with a smile & showed the options they had. I chose a personal pizza with sausage, jalapeño’s & fresh bazil. Pizza didn’t take long at all to make. It was prepared with love. It tasted absolutely amazing. Not your normal pizza chain flavor. This was unique. I was able to sit outside in their chairs & table & enjoy my pizza while watching some YouTube. Overall I’d recommend giving this place a shot. Thanks once again guys for the love.“

“Enjoyed a relaxing outdoor brunch at this popular Mexican restaurant in the Torrance Hollywood Riviera. We picked a nice corner spot with partial shield under the umbrella. It’s a dog friendly restaurant but we wanted to be away from others with our young puppy. The food came fairly quickly, we highly recommend the Octopus Ceviche if you like octopus. I had the Wednesday Burrito special, and my wife had two tacos specials with Asadas. Both were delicious. Our server, Anthony, was prompt and friendly, multiple other servers stopped by multiple times made you feel welcome and made sure we have what we needed.Parking: Parking: a bit of hit and miss in this popular district, once you find a street parking spot, I recommend using the QR code and pay electronically, it’s relatively painless. Another person tried to mess with the meter and sometimes the screen is hard to read, especially under the sun.“

“I ordered half chicken with broccoli & carrots. OMG! Their chicken is so juicy & tender. It is roasted perfectly! They grill the vegetables with garlic oil, extra flavor! I also tried the Southwestern Bowl (wild rice, rotisserie chicken, street corn, sweet potato, tomato, pickled red onion, avocado with chipotle sauce). Super healthy choice!“

“My boyfriend and I were craving for some healthy but filling food and stumbled upon Mad Rebel. And we are so glad we did and will definitely be coming back! The chef makes his own dressings and the ingredients were all so fresh. We got the Marley, Desperado, and Healthy Heart, and we were both blown away how delicious healthy food can be. The owner quotes “I want my food to give energy and for those eating it not feel gross after” and we sure left satisfied and feeling great!!“

“My partner and I came in for breakfast. We had the Quiche and the American Breakfast. The quiche was very good but the fries it came with were not. The bacon that came with the American breakfast had good flavor but was overcooked. We also shared a pancake, we did like the pancake but felt it was a little undercooked. Overall a nice experience, but we expected more from the food. We might try again for other dishes.“

“The place is beautiful and the food was delicious. However, the service was not good, the male waiter at the registration desk was a bit rude and I think he is a racist. He let white people in first even though they arrived later than you and only acted friendly to them.“

“This place stays busy around lunchtime. So I suggest placing your order by phone if you don't like to stand in line. The cashiers are friendly and take orders fast. The place is neat and very clean. They have a huge variety of drinks, chips and dessert. The prices are along oar with every other deli. They have a nice variety of sandwiches. If you want a salad they make them fresh. They have a wide variety of bread and ingredients you can add to your sandwich. They also have hamburgers, turkey burgers and fries. You can order your sandwich hot or cold. The food tastes really good.“

“The most authentic Thai restaurant we have found in LA! Very close to what you'll experience in Thailand. We ordered the Som Tum, Tom Yum soup, pumpkin curry, Pad Thai, Eggplant, Hot Basil with tofu (probably a bit more plain than we expected), Pad Woon Sen (most SoCal Thai restaurants botch it, but Chao Krung Thai masterfully presented a perfect, dry, fried version) and mango sticky rice. I would come back again in a heartbeat. Among the cons are difficult parking, slow service and very dark interior.“

“This new spot on 8th Street is exactly what we needed. In Downtown, it's difficult to find a spot with fresh food that's delicious and quick. Because this spot is new, there is a bit of a wait for the food but not more than you would expect for food that is being prepared for you on the spot. Everything tastes fresh, not frozen. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. We had a lunch catered for the office. Everyone was pleased and that's sometimes difficult to do when you have 10 people with differing tastes. This means there's one more place where I can grab lunch that's not fried food. My favorite side is their broccoli! I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer.“

“All foods I have tried here are very fresh, and people are always so welcoming. I especially like the strawberry matcha latte, squeezed orange juice, croissant ham sandwich, tuna kimbap, and the chicken salad. The turkey sandwich is great, too, as it has many fresh cut veggies inside, but I would recommend croissant sandwich over it as I just personally like the bread part being croissant better. There are seats inside the cafe, and although I have not eaten inside, it rather looked spacious.“

“Best thai place I had in awhile. Great value. I had the beef satay and my wife had the chicken satay. Beef satay is bomb. I recommend the cucumber salad over the papaya salad. “Great seafood, reasonably priced. The Fish and chips plate is hands down the best fish and chips. “This is the best Turkish food in town. The quality of the food is great. Everything is fresh, The portions are pretty big. My favorites are Sultan Delight and Adana kabab. “Beef Shawerma and Vegetarian Mezze Platter were soooo good! Beef was super tender and flavorful. Rice well seasoned and delicious. Falafel amazing! Even though the baba ghanoush and hummus were side dishes in the platter, they were both standouts.I would happily return and highly recommend this place. Good for takeout. Just watch out about the parking situation, especially in the evenings; it's always a pain.Parking: It's a huge parking lot, but it's crazy to navigate because people double park and sit in the middle of an already tight passageway and don't care. Saw many close call accidents.“

“Large, luscious burger, high quality meat, just dripping its juices and sauce I was soaking up with the fries, chasing every drop. And the fries -- creamy inside surrounded by perfectly crisp outsides, lovely light seasoning that's not salty. Oh, man, and my daughter loved her chicken sandwich and its (red) cabbage slaw. I had a taste of the slaw, now I'm tempted to have that sandwich next time just on the strength of the slaw. And all at a totally reasonable price, srsly. Nice people, too, and a quiet courtyard at the side for eating there. I can't wait to go back. I forgot to mention the buns were the kind that are soft but compress down as you bite to be part of the chewy yumcious. Just great.Vegetarian options: Veggie Burger“

“The food here is really great, and they have a good selection of Wine, Beer, and Cider. The burgers are really good and a nice variety. I love getting the chips instead of the fries, trust me on this they are sooo good. The patio is so nice because you can sit outside and enjoy yourselves, and there's lots of space so it's a great place for groups. Parking is also easy in Downtown El Segundo, and the service here has always been top notch and very friendly,in true El Segundo fashion!“

“I received a free coupon for one item, I opted for the chicken sandwich. It was really tasty, not greasy at all, the bun was soft had a sweetness to it almost like a Hawaiian bun, the pickles were crispy and delicious and overall my food experience was really good. “Absolutely wonderful. It's refreshing to eat chicken katsu that's both juicy and has the perfect crunch on the outside. To make it better, it's curry compliment was bursting with flavor yet, it was not overwhelming. I think I got it medium for the spice level and it was perfect for me. “I am so glad I finally got to try Alfalfa! If you're looking for a healthy, stress free (there's a parking lot!), pretty in pink, zen-like breakfast, lunch, or dinner - Alfalfa is it. They also have a location in Santa Monica if you're in that part of town. For my bevvy I tried the Vanilla Oat Milk Latte which was wonderful. I also got the Buffalo Goddess Wrap with medium dressing. The only thing I wish I did was add avocado which I was planning on doing but slipped my mind when ordering. This wrap was SO fresh and light but also had lots of flavor. I really enjoyed it. Lastly, I had to get a donut. Got the maple walnut - this was the only thing that tasted a liiiitle off. Maybe because it was gluten free? But when you have it with the coffee it makes it better. Prices are pretty normal for LA. The staff was absolutely lovely. Since it was my first time I had a few questions and they were able to help me pick out the perfect meal.“
