You guys! The newly remodeled Tacos el Patron is amazing! I already loved their shrimp "el patron" tacos and the fam would eat their Birria and fish tacos but I decided to go last night with my hubby for late night tacos (after 9pm hah) and whoa! What a surprise to see it had been remodeled and with a full bar!!Food is still good but oh my goodness try the margaritas! We had the choice of prickly pear, guava, classic or their infused tequila and I went with guava...so soo good. That guava is freessshh. Felt like I was back in Latin America. Service was on point even at the end of the night. I'm so excited to have a new place to go to for late night food and hoping they will stay open later soon. Check them out!And kudos to their new bartender who let us try one of the infused tequilas the Berry one. A little sweet for my taste but still delicious.Vegetarian options: Quesadillas, burritos, classic stuffWheelchair accessibility: All Wheel chair accessible

I ordered a burrito here, I give it 2 stars.I was visiting from out of town and the place I usually go to wasn't open, so I ended up coming here because of all the reviews I saw on google. The burrito was not good, I didn't even finish it. I was expecting more for a $16 dollar burrito.

Taco El Patron in Concord, lives up to its name – it's a clear winner in the casual Mexican food scene. The vibe is pure fiesta, with bright colors and upbeat music setting the mood for a satisfying feast.  While their menu boasts all the classic Mexican staples, the real star of the show is the birria tacos.  Forget your typical dry shredded beef – these tacos are bursting with juicy, melt-in-your-mouth slow-cooked goodness.  The rich, savory consomé for dipping adds another layer of flavor, and the accompanying tortillas are perfectly griddled, holding everything together beautifully.  To wash it all down, I opted for a classic bottle of Fanta, which provided the perfect touch of sweetness to balance the savory explosion.  While Taco El Patron might not be haute cuisine, it delivers honest, delicious Mexican food at an ok price.  If you're looking for a fiesta for your taste buds in Concord, look no further than Taco El Patron, and be sure to grab those birria tacos – they're the reigning champion!

The taco was delish and will visit again. They are in the middle of renovation, so seating is outside.

Terrible burrito. People's tacos looked decent but that was one of the worst burritos I have ever had.. cold, and gross sauce all over the meat.

First time trying Tacos El Patron. We ordered on DoorDash. Saw the reviews were great. Our order went very smoothly.Food is delicious. Everything was still hot when it arrived. Very neat and tidy presentation.Quesadilla was super fresh and cheesy. Super Quesabirria was insane. Sooo good. Portion sizes were very generous.Would absolutely recommend ordering from here or I’m sure dining in. Can’t say enough great things about the food! DE-LISH!!!

The first 5 times I went to this place it was great. The last 3 times I've gone here there's been something wrong with our order. The last two times we ordered super burritos the cheese is never melted. Just a big lump of cold cheese in the middle of the burrito. Also we seem to have gotten really overcooked carne asada meat. It was like chewing on leather. Our orders were to go so we didn't notice until we got home. Hopefully they shore up their problems in the kitchen. I'll still go back and order their food.

The restaurant is under construction, but they have everything set up so they are still able to serve excellent food. I had the birria tacos and tried the Norteño taco! Both are delicious. Some options that I wanted were not available during construction as they are utilizing their food truck as the kitchen, very creative, but overall good experience and great food.
