We went when they were stationed at 3 Steves winery in Livermore. It was well worth the trek from SF. We got: Idly-vadai combo Potato paratha Masala dosa Bonus samosas! Like Anju said below, some of the softest idli ever. The vada were fragrant and perfectly crispy. Samosas were super crispy outside but still soft and moist inside. Dosas are usually my least favorite on a tiffin menu but this one made me reconsider. There was also more filling than one typically gets. The paratha was also delightful, as were the chickpeas alongside. Coconut chutney and sambar were both great and there was plenty of both. Highly recommend!!!!!! The owners are also super sweet!

Got to try out their food at a recent event and WOW, they're good is phenomenal. All I can say is if you have the opportunity to, definitely try their food truck! We ate 6 samosas in a row and they were fresh and amazing.

We had Ampuli come out to our event for the 2nd year and did not disappoint! :0) We have a large group and eveyone was very happy with the selection and quality of the food. If you are looking for great South Indian food, this is the truck for you. They can put a menu together and made it very easy for our employees. We will hire Ampuli again for our next event. This truck was at the Fremont Street Eats this past Friday. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and asked for extra nan. I also ordered Samosas. We enjoyed the masala and my daughter said the samosas were "bomb". I definitely want to try more items.

I was surprised to see a food truck in the parking lot in the apartment complex where I live. What a great idea! Very convenient! Especially now during this COVID-19 time. I tried the garlic Naan and it was very good.

People were not kidding about the 5 stars !!!! I just had my daughters 5 th birthday and called Arun . Easy to talk to , easy to book , extremely fair prices ! But the best part : the dosas and kaseri and tea were above par - I mean really good !!! Freshly made , very tasty , hot off the stove . They were so nice to our guests , smiling . I mean if you do hire them please leave them a great tip . Arun and his wife deserve it !!!!

Was looking to cater a event. Unfortunately we couldn't use their services as the only way they could make Dosa was odd the truck and we didn't have a place for them to park it. They had a great response time so 5stars for that. Pricing was competitive too

If you want excellent South Indian street food, look no farther. Service was excellent as well, starting from when I first contacted them. Received a response overnight, Arun called on the dot, and provided details. Since we had not tasted their food and this was a special party, they invited us to a tasting at one of the venues they were catering at. The food was fresh and definitely had the home-made taste. On the day of the party, they arrived promptly and setup quickly. The party was a huge success with the food quality and service with a smile. Price was very reasonable. We are delighted customers and will definitely hire them again in the future.
