This bakery is fantastic! Their fresh bread and sandwiches are delicious. There's often a long line, so aim to come early or be prepared for a wait during busy periods. The ladies working here are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Bakery is great but their cashier is grumpy and super nasty! We took our kids here recently to get them a happy breakfast but what we ended up getting was a rushed and mean responses from the cashier about what our kids wanted to eat , and gave everything to us absolutely cold. Looking at other reviews this seems to be a trend- as if they’re doing us a favour.

Not very welcoming staff, it feels like we should be thanking them for giving them our business. Nevertheless we ordered 6 different items including coffee, croissant, cross bread, cheese danish pastry, blueberry muffin, and some type of eclair pastry. I tasted each and every one, didnt want to waste any food. None tasted any different from the other. They all tasted bland even the chocolate frosting. Even the coffee was bad. I cannot recommend anything. Will be thinking really hard if we will give it another chance.

Extremely rude behavior of staff, both at the Pleasanton and San Ramon stores. Very disrespectful and impatient. Poor training and they expect occasional visitors to be completely familiar with their process, even though there were no crowds when I visited. I'll be avoiding these unhealthy carbs with the added dose of unwholesome behavior.

Ordered a farmer chicken salad , salad was like couple of days old , sourdough bread was hard like a rock and the folks at the counter seemed like they wanted to get out of the place fast , I have tried your location in SF and it was awesome , this location I would not step back in again because of this experience when I was hungry , whatever you order don’t order the sandwiches!

I ordered take out to be picked up at 2:35 through Yelp, and they started making the order AT 2:35. They weren't even busy. We've been waiting for 30 minutes now for the food to get done. Seriously? Update: They told us it would take another 30 minutes.

The creamy French was delicious and I enjoyed grabbing a treat! The chicken salad sandwich was alright. A pretty good place if in the area.

Slow, slow, slow, yes I did come during Black Friday but that doesn't give an excuse for the not so great food. The basil bread is terrible and dry. From the window, I thought it'd be great and filled with cheese but that really was not the case. The jalapeño is much better. The sauce in there is good and I had to dip the basil bread into it in order for it to be edible. Will definitely not be going back, should have gone to the pretzel place or literally any other.
