Got my sushi fix from Fat Fish! My favorite roll was the 49er Roll - the lemon slice was everything. Their menu has something for everyone. The rolls were good quality and filling!

This place i like so much has declined. I've been buying sashimi lunch everytime i go there. They increased the price and the cashier and servers forgot to include the soup and rice. I asked for the manager but not available. They didnt even try to make it right. I called back and I'm very disappointed. Maybe it is time to look for another place. That's too bad, the sashimi is pretty fresh

No frills good solid sushi place. Mid price sushi place with fresh fish and generous portions. No unusual fish or higher end varieties. Order from counter and they bring food to table. That is the extent of service. Dining room looks like a diner from any town USA. Mariachi band music was playing when I was there.

We usually get bento boxes to go. The orders are ready when I get there, the food is good, and everyone at the counter has been friendly. For a change we tried another place in Pleasanton, and it was more expensive, and a total disappointment. Will be back to Fat Fish!

We went to this branch thinking it's the same one in San Leandro, it's NOT. Their service sucks! We waited so long for our food, my husband got the wrong beer and when he approached the desk, all they could say was, "OUR KITCHEN IS BACKED UP." Like tf it is...if that's the case, then don't accept dine in anymore. We were not the only ones waiting for our food. We saw other tables that have been waiting as well. Neither of the attendants cared to ask if everything's OK or if we needed anything else. I don't know if it's the generation now or if there is no more customer service ? being taught. Food is meh, nothing stands out. We definitely will not be coming back.

Fat Fish is consistently exactly what I need it to be - great food food at a great value. The owners are friendly, and do their best to make me feel welcome every time.With such a huge menu, I’m amazed at the consistency, but they nail it every time.

This review is long overdue! We've been long time customers of fat fish. We love ordering the pink lady, super rainbow and Bay scallop rolls. My kids love their salmon kama dinner with miso soup. Their food is amazing and they also have complimentary hot tea. Their staff is so friendly too. We'll be back soon!
Reasonable price. Service is good. Teriyaki chicken bowl is delicious. “The Big Salmon” is great- crunchy outer layer, rice then Salmon and avocado in the middle.
I really love this sushi spot they always have the freshest sushi and appetizers. I unfortunately found a small metal bristle inside my shrimp tempura. Not sure how it got to be in there but for now on I'll double check my tempuras.

The staff was amazing their menu advertising for the best quality at the lowest prices is accurate I think it is very good quality for the prices and the flavor is very good. The Wasabi is good the rice was cooked well the serving sizes were very generous. We would come back
