I noticed many new additions to food hall. I saw this opened up inside Pacific Pearl last week when I was picking up takeout next door. I came back to try it today. It's usually busy inside the food hall on a Saturday afternoon. But the rain may have kept many at home. After browsing the menu, I picked a few staple items I was in the mood for. Green Onion Pancake and the Pan Fried Pork Buns. The pancake isn't your typical dough chewy, lightly cripsy outside. It was more of a puff pastry texture, almost Fried vs pan friend. Personally, I would prefer the traditional version. This one lacked flavor and also green onions. Not sure why since it is a green onion pancake. Then other item I was hoping would be better. At 1st glance, it didn't have the green onion garnish. The bun was piping hot and a nice soup juicy flowed out. It required a biting slurping technique with each bite to preserve all the juiciest from leaking out. The 1st bite didn't have much "umph" to it. The bun bottom was crispy with the soft steamed top. This I appreciated. As the buns cooled down a bit, while I ate other things from other the other food stands, I came back to eat my 2nd bun. Surprisingly, the 2nd bun tasted a bit better. Almost as if the flavors settled. This was a nice addition to the food hall. I do want to come back and try other staple items like potstickers and beef roll wraps. Apparently they also have a breakfast combo set that includes porridge too.

First time trying this! I would totally come back for the Pan Fried Pork Bun! That was really good! Lots of juice inside with a crispy bottom! I also tried the porridge and the potstickers. Porridge was really watery so likely would not do that one again. Potstickers are a bit dry. The 4 stars was really for the Pan Fried Pork Buns!!! Those were really really good! Would totally give the pan fried pork buns a try next time you are in the area!

Key Points: - pan fried Buns - Contactless ordering - Tried them on opening day Darn! Just missed my opportunity to be the first to review! So close... Oh well. The fam and I had the pleasure of dining at JB King on their very first opening day. They serve delicious northern Chinese cuisine, located within the Pacific Pearl Shopping Center and nestled within the Pacific Pearl Dining Emporium. The dining hall itself seems relatively new. The interior has clean wooden tables. Restaurants include cuisine from Indo-Chinese, Taiwanese, Hong Kong style, Vietnamese, Japanese, and many more. JB King caught our attention with their enticing pan-fried buns. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint! These buns were a perfect blend of juicy, crispy, and savory, while being doughy and chewy. The accompanying cucumber salad provided a refreshing balance to the rich flavors. We opted for a small order, allowing us to sample other dishes from other businesses within the dining hall, but we'll definitely be back for more. I also appreciated the efficient electronic kiosk ordering system used by this place and other eateries in the hall. It's fast, efficient, reduces ambiguity, best of all, contactless! Highly recommend giving JB King a try!

Food is affordable compared to across freeway in Dublin [also higher tax bracket, really really stands out new in the food court@Pacific Pearl in P-Town East bordering El Charro & Stoneridge Rd. It is a mixture of Chinese, Taiwanese and Hong Kong styled cuisine. Beef Roll and the Congee is our favorite with vibrant sauce in Chinese pancake pan fried to.goodness. It IS a dumpling place but we loved the organic Itoen green tea. They actually have 3 combo platters that save you money enjoying an app or conger soup[milled down soaked rice with a cut up special egg. Not chicken according to Mario and Leticia know their menu. Side was pork and veggie dumpling, we tasted three diff items. You can park in back if 99ranchers take up parking. We enjoy two.others here in the Food Court south Chinese sit down and Malaysian Thai rest, right ins8de away from those two. Next review we are trying the other dumplings. A place to plug in your EV via EVgo here too.
