Coming from SoCal, I was skeptical that there would be any good Korean food in Pleasanton. But believe me when I say that this was the best hotstone bimbimbap I've ever had. Also loved the ambience in here. Felt like a Korean mom had cooked a delicious meal for me. Will definitely be back again.

Got a half order of Galbi to go along with tofu soup with pork and kids chicken teriyaki bento. There was ONLY bones hidden underneath a few pieces of galbi meat. I couldn’t believe what I saw! I set all the bones they hid underneath to one side and took a photo! The galbi meat was also dry and did not taste fresh. Pork was old and dry in the soup and the tofu had gone bad and tasted sour. I ended up spitting it out and threw it away. Chicken teriyaki tasted like lighter fluid. Beware!!! Please see my photos!

The food here is great but the service person has a very poor attitude. It's an older woman. She made us feel uncomfortable. I hope that's something the restaurant can work on in the future.

Imo this is the best traditional korean restaurant in the tri-valley. Fast and warm service, great selection and quality of side dishes. Our fav is the seafood stew which easily feeds two people. It comes with ramens, shrimps, cod roes, crabs, octupus and served on top of a mini burner. Flavor is great and great value!

Place has gone downhill. Ordered a spicy pork lunch. Meat came out lukewarm. And tasted old, like from the day before. I told the lady that the food tasted old and she said it was cooked that morning. I didn't come here for warm parboiled meat I came for bbq. And it was def cooked earlier than that morning, and maybe more than once. The pork was dry and crumbly. Yikes. Don't stay in business if all you want to do is charge $20 for people not to come back Didn't finish the food. Went to KFC absolute 10/10 *chefs kiss*

Their portion is very small, and there are not many ingredients in the hot pot. Also, we were there at lunch, and they automatically handwrote themselves a massive tip, as if it was on my behalf, with no regard for my consent whatsoever. I can only imagine this questionable practice of fraud occurs for every customer. I will never go back there again.

Been trying to find a good Korean tofu soup since moving out of the Bay Area. Make a trip out to Livermore and decided to try this place and the tofu soup did not disappoint! I like SPICY and the extra spicy one surely did the trick!! The japchae noodles were very chewy and didn't have much flavor, so for that I give 4 stars. But the soup was on point! We went on a Sunday afternoon around lunch time and there was only 1 server trying to do EVERYTHING! They were busy with people coming in to sit and with pick up orders, so some folks were waiting for a bit to order but the server was hustling! Trying her best.

Went to visit the girlies and got Korean food Hot stone bibimbap, beef and pork bulgogi, japchae, and spicy tofu soup! Was a very cute little family business and the portions were really nice, we ordered the half order of each meat (1/2 beef and 1/2 pork) and it still looked like a whole complete plate (each) that I'd get at another restaurant I usually don't prefer japchae but this one was really good too! The meat wasnt really anything special tbh, could be more flavorful but the banchan (not pictured) was all pretty yummy and the kimchi they gave was actually spicy!!!!! The lady who took our order was also pretty cool.

It seemed very empty. I had tried the tofu soup and it was pretty bland compared to other locations. The price was alright, I wouldn't say it was worth but it's around the price of other places around it. The staff was pretty nice I'd say.

It sits on a strip mall along Sta Rita road. It was a pleasant suprprise to find such a place not to far from the outlet mall. The food was wonderful, and the people friendly and polite. Came with my friend for dinner at around 6pm. We were greeted and sat right away. We ordered a half order of the Bulgogi Beef and one of their stone pot fried rices. The Bulgogi Beef was delicious and the fried rice was decent. Overall, the service was good, the food was delicious and I would eat here again. I would recommend eating here.

I love soon tofu soup and I was really craving it the other day. Luckily, this was available for me on DoorDash and I placed an order for a Fried Dumpling and Tofu Soup combo. The Tofu Soup: It was really good and delicious. It may look spicy but it was pretty tame in that regards . It had everything I expected in soondobu. The Korean side dishes (which I forget the actual name they are called) was nice to have with. There was a lot of food so I managed to get two servings out of this. The Fried Dumplings: This was a nice appetizer to the meal. Wasn't overdone now under. Got nothing else more to say then how delicious it was for me. Overall, I would get this again, though I prefer in person. Was a bit pricey for a DoorDash experience though.

For really good Korean food and superb service, you gotta come here and try it out. Super friendly, almost like a mama welcoming you in their home (more on this later). Limited menu from what I remember last time, but it hits all the basics. We went bbq chicken, kim chee rice, soondubu, and a hot plate bi bimp bap. The chicken was so plentiful - and way more than what GoGoong offers. Tasty and sizzling when it came, the little ones loved this dish. I tasted it and while it was not as flavorful as some other places, it was still delicious. The kim chee fried rice was also great. Flavorful and good amount of ingredients without being so powerful like some other places. Small egg on top. I'd recommend. Soondubu I didn't get to taste, but the wife enjoyed it and mentioned the broth was nice and not overly salty. She wishes the egg came separate cause she enjoys cracking it and mixing it and watching it cook. I really enjoyed the bi bim bap. Came out piping hot on the hot plate, the rice underneath was crispy. Great amount of ingredients and surprised by the amount of bulgogi they included on top. Mix in the hot sauce and this was a top notch dish for sure! Back to the home part. I knocked off a star cause the inside is just so uninviting. I know it's hard nowadays but wish they could demo the inside to studs and redo it real nice. Although it might be better to find a different spot since the strip mall they're in is so sleepy. One of the things I enjoy in general is the inside ambiance. And this place was lacking. But the food. Oh boy. Come check it out.

1. Food was not in a good shape. I don't think their food is an authentic Korean style with right ingredients. 2. Waitress was not kind. Very strange waitress was serving. 3. Price was so-so. Not too expensive, not too cheap.
