The inside of this restaurant is beautiful. I stopped in on a lunch visit with a 7 person work group and the restaurant was fairly empty. I ordered the bolognese but they brought the complete wrong dish. The rest of my group started eating and I was assured my meal would be brought out in 2 minutes. It ended up being 15 and by that point the rest of my group had finished eating. I ended up having to get mine to-go. At the price point per head, I would expect much more attention to detail from the staff and an ability to quickly correct the issue. The bolognese wasn't even that good when I got around to eating it :(

We went here for our anniversary.Loved the ambiance. It's small and cute.Service was exceptional. Our server had his italian accent added perfect touch to the ambiance and food that we ordered :)Yummy drinks, great food. Everything was finger licking tasty. Definitely recommend!

We were here to celebrate my son's birthday. We had already made a reservation so it was easier to get seated as soon as we reached the restaurant. The server was really very nice and patient with our order. I ordered the Molo Beverello cocktail and my husband got the Old Fashion and others got Coco cola. We ordered appetizers to go with our drinks, Fritto mito which is deep fried Monterey calamari tiger prawns with chef's capri sauce, pane and olives which is homemade bread with taggiasca olive spread. Our main course was brasato - short ribs, ravioli di argagosta, pizza and lamb chops. The food was okay, didn't feel anything great but the service was great. The ambience is good and the interiors have vibrant colors. They do have outside seating as well but that evening it was raining hence the inside seemed a bit crowded and cramped. We ordered their special dessert which is mostly small donuts with Nutella. Overall, it's good to try once.

This week, I had the pleasure of dining at Locanda Amalfi in Pleasanton for a business meeting. The experience was fantastic – the service was attentive, the drinks were exceptional, and the food arrived promptly and absolutely delicious.While I can't speak to every dish on the menu, our table of three enjoyed a variety of items that showcased the restaurant's culinary talents. We started with the Brussel Sprouts, Octopus, and Shisito Peppers for appetizers, all flavorful and perfectly cooked. For the main course, the Eggplant Parmigiana (hold the cheese!), Branzino, and Gnocchi Al Tartufo were all met with rave reviews.We also sampled a few of their desserts, indulging in the Raspberry Cheesecake, Tiramisu, and Cannolo Siciliana. Each bite was a delightful ending to a wonderful meal.I’m looking forward to my next visit .

Got there about 5pm and were glad we did because filled up fast. Food was great, i had gnocchi, wife had raviolis. With drinks and 1 cannoli for dessert the bill was 65bucs..will go again.

We went for early dinner on Valentine's Day. The restaurant was decorated with excessive red heart balloons. It was cute but a bit too kitschy. Our table was very close to another two-top. I ordered a salad and a prawn appetizer. The server didn't ask how I wanted them but I was planing on the salad as a first course and the prawns as a main. Instead, both plates were delivered together. It was hard to fit them in the small space. They had removed the small bread plates because we didn't order bread so I couldn't easily share the salad with my husband. The salad and prawns were both good and my husband enjoyed his pasta dish. Wines by the glass were reasonably priced.

The staff here was so authentic, friendly, and attentive! We had such a relaxing and delicious meal. We were outside and it was chilly. But they had blankets and heaters so we were cozy! Will return!

Were seated immediately. Server taking drink order, explaining specials, taking food order...all well timed , felt neither rushed or having to wait too long. Everyone happy with their selections. Mark up on wine was reasonable.

What a great experience. We had a table of 9 and felt like we had quick and efficient service. The appetizers were great (meatball, rice balls, Brussel sprouts and calamari)! There was a nice choice of entrees -- some fancy and some more what you'd expect, but even the pizza was tasty and full of options. The lamb was delicious and the lobster ravioli was divine. I can't get over how great the service was though. We had one waiter and several people clearing plates, offering new silverware, topping off water, etc. They were very attentive. The waiter knew his menu and was very good. Bonus kudo to David, who was not working at the time but was there anyways and sang a beautiful rendition of "Happy Birthday" to me! What an experience!!

Service was ridiculously slow - even though it was crowded, that should have been anticipated. We waited for 20-30 minutes to order each round of food. It took the server over 30 minutes to get me hot water. It was very annoying and disappointing - the service has usually been much better in the past.
