Good service but there is no savory of each food. Little bit overpriced.

I didn’t even bother taking pictures of the food. Sadly, this is the worst korean food I had so far. I don’t recommend :(

This is a tricky one. Getting Jajangmyeon right is so tough to pull off impressing Koreans. This is like trying to get a baguette right in France. Myeongdong is situated in the Pacific Pearl plaza where almost out of no where you have this massive Asian cuisine bonanza going on in Livermore - traditionally considered Asian dessert. It was really weird to see that many legit Korean / Chinee / Taiwanese / and other food and chains all the way out there. I guess they're for outlet shoppers?Either way, Myeongdong's Jajangmyeon was definitely on the legit side. The noodle texture was relatively good and unique. The slight fail is definitely with the sauce. Plenty of veggies and meat but no gravy. This means the Jajangmyeon turns out dry and leaves a lot of noodle without any flavor coverage. I hope the chef puts a bit more effort into the gravy and au jour, especially cause that is the cheaper part of the sauce.Their Tangsooyook - deep fried pork - that always accompanies the Jajangmyeon was also quite good. Decent portions, decently sweet sauce. Nothing mind blowing but also not to be shy of.Jjampong - spicy seafood noodles - the soup didn't have much soul in it. Barely passing the acceptable mark but again, not too shabby considering how far out this joint is compared to the rest of the Korean population.Prices were appropriate. And considering how new the place is, the atmosphere was clean and bright. These types of Korean comfort food places is all about "aging" and maturing. There's a bit of breaking in that must be done and I think as the years fold under, let's see how they either establish themselves into a destination for pilgrimage or simply wither away. As of now, I'm more on the hopeful side.Parking: The plaza parking lot - despite being quite spacious - literally fills up. And 1/3rd of the stores weren't even open. Good luck finding parking.

We came here on a saturday night - it was a little busy but we didnt have to wait for a seat. The service was good - we got our order taken quickly and our food came out fast. The JaJang Noodles were so so good - as well as the Gimbap. Also, the portions were relatively large and good for the price.

We went to the restaurant at 7:30 PM on a weekday after work, because my husband is on a diet so we were planning on order one dish. But we got kicked out by the owner because she told us there is a “minimum ordering policy“ for their restaurant. At the time there was no one waiting in line and the restaurant was half empty, she insist for us either to take it to go or leave the restaurant right now. Never have I ever heard of this kind of rules and her attitude was unacceptable and very rude, she did not look at us the whole time, and just simply telling us to leave. Terrible customer service, and some unreasonable make-up policy to drive us away, definitely not going back ever again, and just want everyone else to know that this place is not friendly. Do Not Go Eat Here.

Yay, new Korean spot that opened up nearby with my favorite jjamppong and jajangmyeon. For three adults and two kids, we ordered quite a lot of food honestly. Starting with appetizers, we got the spicy rice cake and the gimbap. The gimbap was a bit cold, which was unexpected, portion was quite big though. Flavor was good and it was popular with the kids. The spicy rice cake was as expected, kind of spicy, served with eggs, fish cake and cheese. Next are the three items you absolutely must order whenever you visit a Korean Chinese restaurant: Jjamppong, Jajangmyeon and TangSuYuk, the trifecta. The jjamppong was delicious, not overwhelmingly spicy, had a good amount of seafood and great flavors. The jajangmyeon was a little bland, but had all the essentials, onions, pork, cucumbers and sauce. The sweet and sour pork was my favorite. Super crispy and the sauce wasn't too sweet nor too sour. Are you a pour over or a dipping person when you order TangSuYuk?

Oh man this spot is dope! Stumble upon this establishment randomly when I was in the area. I went here around 7:30pm with my family and got seated right away. Ambiance was dope, small decent little shop. We ordered a lot of foods and they were pretty spectacular. Service was amazing, the kind waitresses would come by making sure if our table needed anything. I appreciate that a whole lot. Liang Zhang Pi: Decent dish with lots of yummy flavors. We wanted to try something new, so we placed the order and I believe the owner gave us a rundown in what it came with so that was nice to know what we are eating. Super refreshing dish, the peanut wasabi sauce drizzle on the dish was flavorful. Seafood Pancake: It was alright, definitely not the star of the show but it wasn't bad. It felt like we were just eating just vegetable pancake, didn't really taste much of the seafood. The sauce for the seafood pancake was super righteous. Ja Jang Noodles: Noodles were bouncy and had a great chew texture. Portion was pretty good considering the price. Definitely a go to dish when you visit. Fried Dumplings: Homemade dumplings hits the spot. The fillings of the dumplings was right on! Decent appetizer to get us started. Shrimp Fried Rice: Plain Jane shrimp fried rice. aint nothing really special. They kept it simple and original so no complaints here. They do got the wok hay so that's Overall this fine establishment is dope. I would definitely come back here again to try other dishes such as the chicken wings with chili sauce and the sweet and sour pork/beef.

The restaurant is super racist and kicked us out because we were apparently not "ordering enough" for the restaurant on a weekday dinner at 7 PM. There was no one waiting, and there was no line, the restaurant was half empty, but the owner refused to let us sit down to dine in and insist for us only taking to go or leave immediately, I tried to talk to the owner, and she tell me that this is common sense, I couldn't believe what I'm hearing, and she just started ignoring us. Other customers and the waiter was shocked by her attitude, too, never have I ever heard of this kind of rule, not to mention we were not affecting her business in anyway, or affecting her profit from other customer. Eventually we had to leave empty stomach.Writing this review just so the Neighborhood knows what kind of business practice they have here at this restaurant and they do not treat customer in a decent way, this is just simply unacceptable. Please do not go and support a business like this.

My sister wanted to come here. Let me say this first.. the food here is good. Let's get that out of the way. We were in a party of 4, we ordered 3 dishes (jajangmyeon, jjampong, and tangsuyuk) and the waitress told us that that wasn't enough food for all of us and that if we could order more.. I just told them in Korean we are just fine, thank you. I didn't like that at all and after that it just got awkward. Really disappointed because they were really good reviews about this place.

My sister was craving some Jjajangmyeon and we found this spot on Yelp nearby, so we decided to give it a try!- PARKING -Shares a large parking lot with several other businesses, no worries about circling around for a spot here!- SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT -The restaurant itself is not very large, most of their table seatings fit 4 people comfortably, but since we had a baby with us, they allowed us to take an entire side row area. Pretty small menu as well, but it also seems like a smaller kitchen/business overall. Once we ordered, it took around 15 minutes for some food to begin coming out, although they arrived at different times.- FOOD -What we ordered:- Jjajangmyeon : Very fair portion size, nice chewy and bouncy noodles, great flavor on the black bean sauce!- Tangsuyuk: I liked that they served it separately so that the chicken didn't get soggy! However a lot of the pork pieces were just breading...- Pork Chop Rice: Crispy Pork Chop, but nothing too special!- Mabo Tofu: Nice spice level, also great portion size!- Seafood Pancake: Also great portion size, and a good amount of seafood inside as well.- OVERALL -A nice small business that I would consider coming back for more Korean food, and to help out a nice shop!

We came in as party of 5 and they offer to help us mix and explain the new dish of liang zhang pi. They also help us with the cutting of noodles and getting another portion of side dish. I also went to many others and thought those would be included in service so I did not think much about the amount of tipping. I mean that seem fair to have tip but how much would depend on us personally. I was not expect them to direct mentioning us to do minimum of 10%. I knew someplace write directly with party of 4 or 5 would adding gratitute. So, hopefully they would be more clear on the menu itself so would not create an akward moment for both sides. And about the food,1. small portion on the liang zhang pi and seem they have 4 or 5 small piece of expensive ingredients so a bit pricey. They have the sauce like wasabi and peanut color. 4/52. Ja jang noodles: lots of onions in the sauce, 1.5x normal portion so lots noodles but not enough sauce so not enough season. 3/53. Sweet and sour pork (not pictured): sauce on the side and it was very sour, the pork was crunchy. 3/5Overall, I would recommend and would come back if they were clear on the gratituty and were not so straight forward on asking us for more.

I was craving some fatty foods with no interest in cooking that night, so I asked my husband we do a pick-up for dinner. In the end, it was so satisfying!!Jajang noodles were delicious. I ordered a 1.5 portion size to share, and it was plenty for us two. I liked that they have thinly sliced cucumber as garnish. I also liked that the noodles were chewy and on a thicker side.Sweet and sour pork was crispy and not overly battered. I wish there were a bit more vegetables in the sauce. Pretty standard taste you can expect but nothing to regret.Stirred fry seafood and pork was good. We had it for lunch the next day. It's around 20 dollars so I would say this is a mini version of what I'd expect from this typical dish. Not so impressive on this one but was OK. I'd order something else next time.

I got a black bean noodle and in total there were 5 pieces of small little pork. Not much of wok-hey flavour, I think Paik's JJM is so much better. The service was very quick which is good for a hungry person.
