I am so sad to hear they will be closing this location on 12/11/21. Covid19 has taken such great local businesses from us. We bought a gift card during the pandemic to support Simply Greek, but unfortunately, the pandemic must have taken a toll on this local business. There is no place like this in the area and Simply Greek will be TRULY missed. Such a loss for the tri-valley area. This is such a solid place, the food is hearty and delicious. We usually order the gyro & steak gyro plates that come with fries or rice pilaf, salad and a drink. I LOVE their rice pilaf! We sometimes get a dipping trio to share, love their spicy feta dip! Their baklava is also great, not something I would typically order but they gave it to us for free one day and it made me love it! We will miss you Simply Greek, but will keep fingers crossed to see you again in the tri-valley area!

Scam! Rude racist employees refuse to give my order because I pick up late! Really sad!

Best. Gyros. In. Town. I don't even have to ask my kids what they want for dinner when I tell them we're eating out. The answer is always Simply Greek! Their food is consistently amazing. Simply Greek's fries are perfection and that freakin tzatziki sauce

If you are in a mood for Gyro, go here. I've been getting a Gyro from here at least once a week for several years. Very consistent quality: quality and well cooked meat, tasty sauce and bread. People who work here are friendly, too. Highly recommended.

Great Googally Moogally! If you are ever in Pleasanton, CA eat at Simply Greek. James has been wanting to take me here for years, we finally remembered and had time and so glad we did. This food is the bomb! I had a chicken, spinach and feta gyro amd James had a traditional Gyro. Try their Fiery Feta dip with pita. Definitely going to hit this up again, and it only cost us 27.00

Incredible Gyros, and perhaps the best fries I have ever had. Just wish they were open a little later - maybe until 8. More often than not we find ourselves going across the highway to Nick the Greek even though the food is not nearly as good (just because of the hours).

This ain't...... Burger King. You will not have it your way. Many have seen my posts and reviews, its all about the service. Service, service, service. I showed up an hour after they had opened. Place was still getting setup, money on the counter and outside tables were locked in place. I asked for menu and was directed to what was taped on the table and windows, OK all good. See the sign that says they prefer cash, all good not the first time. Lady is hurried and busy but still OK, she decides now is a good time to take my order, I give it and have cash ready and ask for receipt. Oh, we don't give receipts. ? Um, what? OK no problem what about credit card so I can sign and take receipt. (Out here for work) Oh, well that will be more, different cost, as she reaches around to show me she now has to plug in her credit card machine. More perturbed at my presence. I say ya know what, its all good, no worries have a nice day. 1. Don't open if your not ready, and if you do, don't take it out on your customers because your rushed. 2. If you don't want to be here find another job, don't take it out on your customers. 3. Receipts, hand write them, that way you can steal, sorry "still" not have to worry about reporting all your income. (Dang spell check) duh. Psst, next door they did it correctly check the picture.

This is a good lunch spot when you're looking for something quick and fresh. We've been eating lunch here for a couple of years now and I'm glad to see they've weathered the COVID limitations. Our standard order usually includes the dolmathes, avgolomono (lemon chicken soup) and hummus and tzatziki along with any assortment of gyro or souvlaki. It's all good. The salads are a little basic, but the olives and feta are good, and always fresh, so I keep ordering them. You order at the counter (so peruse the menu first if you suffer from ordering fright like I do), and then you can fill your sodas at the machine and seat yourself. Currently there is only limited outdoor seating, so plan on takeout mostly. This is a decent lunch/quick meal spot. I think the tzatziki is spectacularly thick and creamy, with nice chunks of cucumber mixed in. I will literally finish with a spoon if there's any left after devouring the warm pita. Same for the hummus. Light and delicious, this is a great snack to pair with one of the small salads. Also, fair prices, which is great with lunch!

Affordable, consistent quick lunch or dinner spot with fresh food and friendly staff. Their hours are more limited since COVID and take out or delivery only. Chicken souvlaki with rice, gyro and falafel are all delicious. If you're really hungry, order the Titan! Hope this small business can hang in there.

Requested Gyro Greek Salad takeout because of Pandemic. Greek serving of mixed greens was severe cucumber henceforth 4 stars, 3 bits of tomatoes and 3 olives and a liberal piece of extremely delectable gyro meat. Normally they are acceptable however perhaps they were occupied this time. Their titan sandwiches are acceptable assuming you need more meat. Would suggest place since I have been going there for quite a long time. Seldom they've bombed me.

Was walking around the area figuring out what I wanted to eat. I saw simply Greek and checked out the menu. My first impression was that the prices were super cheap. I kept hearing the DoorDash ding go off in the restaurant so I knew it must be decent. WOW so dang good. For how cheap it was I wasn't really expecting much but the proportions were decent, the flavor amazing, and it came out very fast! Would 100% recommend and will be coming back when I'm in town again.

How did I not know of this place? I've worked in Pleasanton, pretty much down the street for the past 7 years! Stopped in a couple of days ago to pick up a quick lunch. I ordered a gyro meal. It comes with a side salad, fries or rice and a small soda. I skipped the fries and rice, and got a good size salad with Greek dressing. The gyro was super tasty! The pita was soft and fresh, meat was tender and the sauce (I can't spell it!) was delicious! The salad was yummy, with mixed greens, tomatoes, pepperoncinis and kalamata olives. The Greek dressing was simple but amazing! I would buy it by the gallon! :) I'm glad I discovered this restaurant and can't wait to try more of the menu items!

The food is good. Prices are good. A bit strange that they still prevent anyone for going inside the restaurant…
