Not open to the public. The phone number leads to the Stanford healthcare Valleycare operator.

I was seen months ago at the occupational urgent care. My employer needed copies of those records, so I called them. I was told that I had to get the records from the hospital. I went, I believe last Tuesday at about 3:50pm.. sign on door says open til 4:30. No one knew where the ONE and ONLY person was who works in this office, and no where to be found. I went again today at 9:50... sign on locked door said back at 12:30... no one to help, no one knows anything about anyone... after an hour+ I was sent back to the Occupational urgent care to get the records. Horrible unprofessional experience.

In Feb 2019 I went to Stanford for a small surgery for a hiatal hernia that started at 1:00 pm. I woke up from the surgery about 6pm in tremendous pain in my neck and shoulders. They gave me something right away that helped me sleep, but wore off after a few hours. At 10:30pm, I woke up again in pain, I asked for more pain meds but was told I had to wait till 1am. By the time the night nurse showed up at 1:30 am, I was sobbing in pain and not able to move! At one point, They missed the vein and the pain meds created an egg sized bulge in my arm. Ultimately The surgeon had me stay an extra day because my pain wasn't under control. During The 2nd day the day nurses were wonderful, took very good care of me, they were responsive cheerful and I was always comfortable. I couldn't have asked for anything more. However at night, it was a nightmare! The 2nd night I asked for the same pain meds as they gave me during the day, but they refused. Even the charge nurse refused to give me pain meds and never called the attending. She seemed annoyed that I even asked. I had asked the night nurse for a schedule of when I would get pain meds as I wanted to know if I had to last 1 hour in pain or 3 hours. She refused to tell me. The night nurse told me in front of the charge nurse if I was asleep, I was fine and she wouldn't wake me to give me pain meds. The second night after surgery I went 8 hours with no pain meds at all. Zero! Needless to say, I crashed and ended up in severe pain the morning of the 3rd day. When the attending DR. Showed up the morning of the 3rd day, he told me if I needed any pain meds, just ask the nurse. I told him they weren't giving pain meds at night but during the day it was a different story. He checked the chart and his eyes got very big, he then made sure I was comfortable! I would have been better off going home the second day where I could have gotten care. I know it may sound like I am some kind of addict, but I actually don't like opioids and got off them as soon as I could. But they were a necessary part of being able to heal. If you go to have surgery, understand what the plan of care is, how the communication amongst the staff works, who is in charge of your plan of care, how to make a request if you need something and who your advocate is. I regret I didn't ask more questions. Once I was in the hospital bed, I was treated like a non-person by the night nurses, an annoyance when I asked for help and dismissed when I was in pain. It was a terrifying experience to be so unable to take care of yourself and have the night nurse staff have total control of keeping you in pain or relieving your pain, and not have any recourse. I read that women are often dismissed when they are in pain. I can sadly say that was the case for me at Stanford, but only at night!

I cant believe that they make a child wait so long in emergency to get comfortable with stomach pain and vomiting before he can get help, I had to actually go to the front desk to get them after 1 hr of straight being uncomfortable. Then they finally give pain meds and start i.v. if I would have known I would have drove further for better results.

This is the worst place ever. Do not go to the ER. They will send you home and bill you thousands of dollars. Patients no longer want to go to unethical hospitals. If you have insurance they will bill you without providing services. Your hardworking money pretty much pays for the fact that they need your money to exist. I am new to the state. I Should have know better. They rip you off, they rob you. Stay away. If you are in dire need go someplace else, otherwise you will ended up paying, a lot of money and end up with plenty of aggravation.

This review is for maternity care and child birth On 26th December 2019, me and my husband were blessed with a baby girl at the Stanford Valley care hospital in Dublin, CA. I was admitted to the hospital on the morning of 12/25/2019 when my water broke. Our daughter was born on 12/26/2019 in the afternoon. Experience so far was good. We were discharged on 12/28/2019 in the afternoon around 1:00 pm only to return to emergency at 5:00 pm. That morning we had informed the staff that the baby is not fed almost the entire night. Apart from not taking the feed, the baby was crying inconsolably all night. We called the staff multiple times, but nothing was done or taken care of. Next day the lactation nurse helped us feed at about 11:00 am. The wait in the emergency room which was more that a couple of hours was very discomforting and causing more concerns. My concern is that we should not have been discharged, if the baby was not well. We were informed that the bilirubin levels of the baby were on the higher side. We asked the nurse what steps need to be taken for high bilirubin levels. However, the nurse said some kids have high level. All these days after the baby was born, we had been complaining that the baby is not feeding, to which the nurses and the doctors mentioned that it is normal since they are learning to latch. We had multiple times informed that the baby is constantly sleeping and not feeding. At this time, nobody provided us with the formula. When we returned to the emergency and the bilirubin test indicated that the levels are significantly very high and hence readmitted to the hospital. We learnt there that there was a misunderstanding that the baby was given the formula after birth, however that was never the case. We have faith in the hospital staff for discharging us, which makes us feel all is good with the mother and the baby, which was not in this case. We also noticed that the adjacent bed baby had a similar case, only thing is that they were discharged on 12/28/2019 and they came to back on 12/29/2019 morning. I believe, in such cases extending the stay and treating the baby will be better than the hassle of been discharged and then returning through emergency. This not only put us through a lot of discomfort and stress but also has financial implications. I would really appreciate if this can be looked into and not cause stress to other new parents.

This is worst possible ER room . They don't have enough beds and not even a aayaten in place to let patients know how much time they need to wait . Don't go there .

On New Years Eve, I experienced a heart attack while out for a short 4 mile run. When I realized what was happening I called 911 and the ambulance took me to this facility. From the moment I arrived to the moment I was discharged three days later, the quality of care I received could not possibly have been better. I want to give a huge thank you to Dr. Lin and the team that did the angioplasty and installed the stent in my heart. Margaret who was my nurse in ICU was terrific and my nurses in the regular care section, Carole and Rahima (?) were excellent as well. I wish I could remember the names of everyone who helped me from the emergency room to the people who drew blood but unfortunately I can't. All I can say is thank you to everyone for being so kind, caring and considerate. Your work is greatly appreciated. Michael.

Not a good experience at all. The doctor I saw was extremely sarcastic and condescending the whole time. I went in for a neck injury and he seemed to think it was a joke. He Rudely told me it was all muscular and that he can't do anything for me so just "go home". And now I find out that they must not take the Insurrence I gave them (they didn't mention that when I was there, which would've been nice). So I have a bill for nearly $400 to when all I did was listen to a rude and arrogant doctor. Also they charged me $86 for a "night visit" I was there at 6:30am, how is that a "night visit"?

This is for the Pulmonary department only. This office is horrible about returning phone calls!!! I've been trying for months to get medical equipment recommended by Dr Yee back in August!! Well it is now end of November and I have yet to get it. I call, leave a message and nothing, no call back even when they tell me that I would get a call before end of day. This is so frustrating as I'll be changing insurance at the beginning of the year. I'll probably have to start all over again with a new doctor. When I did talk to them, I was told that I would get weekly updates, yeah right, I got nothing. Such a waste of my valuable time.

All moms to be- go to another hospital! I had my daughter here and although I had two amazing nurses (with plenty of bad ones too) I wouldn't want to come back here. I was there during the September heat wave and the a/c didn't work in my room, my morning nurse told me that the room just gets hot. I had be in the heat until the evening when another nurse came and got it fixed. Keep in mind I was the only postpartum patient that day. The day nurse was not helpful with anything at all. I was given dirty sheets and a gown with tape on it from a former patient. I know this isn't a 5 star hotel but come on, it's a hospital, it should be clean! During labor and delivery- the nurses were not helpful at all, it was a slow day and it seemed like they were all just hanging out. Nurses also provided dated/conflicting information throughout my stay.

I went for prenatal care for just one or two visits . I switched hospitals because they simply do unnecessary stuff without even helping or telling anything clearly and also, give surprise bills. This is especially about the nutritionist care. I was told that my sugar level is high after some tests and sent to nutritionist in my first trimester . This is supposed to be done during end of second trimester . I was actually of proper weight(more on thinner and proper BMI side) and started losing weight with their diet within first 2 weeks which wasn't supposed to happen during pregnancy. I could have found the diet online for free instead of going to the nutritionist. They gave me food details of things I don't even eat and didn't have any guidance for my ethnic food . They wanted me to follow this for next 7 months almost while maintaining steady weight gain and eating this during my pregnancy . Upon that when asked whether everything is covered in insurance, they said as part of prenatal it's should be covered and everything should be covered . Now they have given me a bill of 700 dollars for 2 visits to nutritionist under other therapeutic services after 3 months . I was told that's part of prenatal care . My doctor and lab and ultrasounds actually only cost me 200 dollars as insurance covered it . 700 dollars for a nutritionist when I am actually not even borderline overweight and without any useful guidance for maintaining sugar and weight during pregnancy. Internet is free to look those up . What really ticked me off though were the words . The nutritionist suggested that there is no use of me taking any extra glucose tests which I was supposed to later as she said it would just harm my baby with those high sugar intake for a test and I should just follow diet and see her and when asked she kept scaring me that my baby would be harmed and would be very big . She isn't a doctor to suggest what should or shouldn't be done with tests and also , stop scaring people when I hadn't even gotten a full anatomy scan yet . Yes !! Take my money and give me extra stress and scare every few sentences .. Super care (sarcasm intended) .
