Attended a fundraiser for Pleasanton Military. The spaghetti dinner was very good. The garlic bread was the best! Strawberry Margarita was a perfect finisher. So happy that they support our troops

You wouldn't guess it from the name or assistance, but this place has great food. Service is fantastic, they'll happily make substitutions. My favorite is breakfast all day, plus most (all?) breakfast items come with a free beverage of any kind. Breakfast for dinner with a beer included? Sweet!Kid-friendliness: Nobody under 21 allowed

Danny was phenomenal! He greeted me right away and made me feel welcome! He was extremely attentive to my needs! I have an onion allergy, and he checked twice with the cook to ensure my food didn't have or touch onions! I will drive back from San Jose because of Danny! What an asset to the Sunshine Saloon team!!!! The French Dip is the best. Great staff and great food.
The bar itself is a decent time, tone of tvs and projectors (older). However, food is very mediocre and average. The food has never has amazed me, and seems slightly over priced. The worst part of the bar though is the service. You rarely get a server that is happy, kind, or hard working. We wait on average 20-30 minutes for someone to tend or check in on us. Often times the servers will walk by and never check in, and when we wave them down they are always rude and upset that we waved them down.
