Service is outstanding! Sashimi was fresh and massive pieces I got Hamachi, Tuna, and Salmon! Also, had the Climaxe Roll it was spicy and delicious! Portions here are amazing! Can't wait to visit again!

Second time in two months. Love this place. Tonight having the teriyaki tofu with soup, salad, and rice. Cubes of silky tofu on a bed of lettuce and shredded cabbage with vegetables. The vegetable tempura appetizer plate was perfect and lasted only a few minutes. Partner had the cherry blossom. Yummy! Great service. VERY clean restaurant. Tucked away in the corner of strip mall near the Round Table Pizza. Dining area in back big enough for a team lunch or dinner

I knew that any sushi restaurant in the SF Bay Area would be pricey. So I picked this restaurant because of its food and atmosphere. The owners were friendly and appreciative. I ordered the chirashizushi bowl. It was delicious, fresh & generous cuts of sashimi.

Accidentally ordered a california hand roll. Realized it was the wrong order before leaving the restaurant, turned around and told the woman working and she refused to exchange it for a cut roll or let me pay the difference. I was forced to pay full price for ANOTHER california roll (cut) and keep the hand roll.

Went for team dinner here. There are ample options for non-vegetarians, as compared to 6-8 for vegetarians. I am a vegetarian and ordered a veggie roll which was very good and fresh. All the other that the team ordered also looked good and they were really loving each one of the ordered sushis.Overall a great place for sushi lovers, also does not disappoints veggie lovers.

Best Sushi in the Bay Area. I try something new every time and haven't been disappointed. My kids love it and the owner is super nice, she always stops by to chat with us. Ume mixes a small town restaurant feel with professional quality.

Adorable restaurant with plenty of space for big groups. We called ahead and made reservations since it was a Saturday night, they greeted us and we sat at a big booth with pillow cushions, very cute! We ordered some beers and miso soup to start, and of course 6 rolls to complete our order. The food came out pretty fast and beautifully displayed, everything was fresh and full of flavor, I can't choose a favorite. Everyone was super nice and the service was impeccable. I will be coming again!
