Good service and good portions. I've been to other chains but this porridge tastes better, served really hot and presentation better. The you tiao Chinese donut is nice a crunchy. Nice restaurant except for the flies zapper in the middle of the floor.

First time here for Chinese crepes.Beef rice noodles/crepe was ok added eggs. I had better but not bad overall. The shrimp crepe was ok, but not for me, added egg. This is the first time I had shrimp crepe and also had lettuces inside and only a few pieces of shrimp. Also ordered beef congee. The congee is pretty good. Like most places.Overall, a typical average restaurant for me.Parking: Lots of parking

Not many restaurants in the bay that specialize in Chang Fen, a flat Chinese Rice noodle usually rolled with meat. Most of the time you would have to go to a Dim Sum place where it could take forever just to get seated and order. This place has no wait, plenty of seating and you get your food within minutes. The ambience resembles a cafeteria in the best way. The noodles are cooked perfectly , the Char Siu is tender and flavorful and the sauce is delicious. It's simple food with complex flavors.I give Yin Ji 4 stars because I have come back here again and again whenever Im in the area. The flavors don't blow me away or anything, but sometimes I just want something quick, delicious and cheap without resorting to fast food. The Chang Fen here is the perfect solution.

*Had the Sliced Pork Liver & Kidney Congee with a couple of different Chang Fens. I believe we had the Shrimp Chang Fen, BBQ Pork Chang Fen, Beef Chang Fen, and Dough Stick Chang Fen.*The Chang Fens were really good. However, the Chang Fen broke and fell apart easily and I swear it's not my below average chopstick skills. The Congee was good but nothing special. The meats are in mine were in very small pieces but otherwise, it was still good.*Service was alright. My Congee came out relatively late and the server's thumb dipped a bit into it.*The restaurant was relatively medium sized and it did get quite busy when we were there around opening.

Bought a ginger milk pudding, a very small can, cost $7.17, not tasty at all. Rarely encountered milk pudding that could taste so bad. Caution advised.Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Chinese restaurants have increased their prices unreasonably. The problem is that the quality of the dishes is not good either.

Restaurant specializing in chang fen (Cantonese rice noodle rolls) - pricing is decent considering the portion and amount you get but the quality of it is just so-so. The noodles were soggier than I expected - for any other restaurant, that would be okay but you kind of expect more from a place that has it in the namesake. Order comes up quick though - so ideal if you're looking to grab a quick bite for lunch.

TL;DR: - Pleasanton location was a bust and does not live up to their tasty Milpitas location but if you'd like to give it a shot, come on Thursday as they offer a 10% discount per item then. parking:- generous wait time:- zero ambiance:- modern and clean service:- fast food:[Worth It] - Fish Congee: very light and homey with juicy cuts of white fish. It would benefit from additional add-ons like dried onion/garlic. [Not Worth It]- Fried Buns: basically deep-fried donuts without the sugar glaze as the condensed milk is on the side. - Shrimp Rice Noodles: Never in my life did I think I'd ever encounter a subpar rice noodle. Even the frozen ones tasted better than this!

Great service and short wait time. The food is pretty flavorful but they put lettuce in it which is something not as common. If you're looking for the Hong Kong style one then this is not it but still tastes good though. The milk tea is on the sweeter side so ask for less sweet but the tea base is good. The lemon tea is authentic without the bitterness from the lemon and not dry on the mouth. Overall, this place is good and worth a try
