Honestly cant say enough good things about this place. Every single thing I’ve had is good if not absolutely amazing. I’ve been here multiple times and go out of my way to visit. The staff is charismatic and welcoming, drinks are all great, and the food is unmatched honestly. Not even to mention that their food is wildly better than places that charge 2x as much. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Tried this place randomly because I was in the area and the good reviews.Glad that I did!Food was delicious...had the asada wet burrito and sampled the pastor taco. Liked the taco better.The highlight was the staff (didn't catch her name) was amazing! Very polite and courteous...helpful and patient!

Good food, good portions and prices. And unlike many restaurants, you can actually hold a conversation. Because much of their business is takeout, noise levels never get too high.The setting is informal, so be prepared for that. All dishes are vegetarian or vegan, but judging by the brisk lunch business, Borreguitas has caught on with the omnivores.Vegetarian options: The wet burrito is to die for, especially with red sauce. Every Tuesday is Taco Tuesday, with $1.50 street tacos (small but tasty). They serve beer and soda in a bottle.I'm a longtime vegan, and this is the only all-veggie restaurant within 5 miles.Kid-friendliness: It's a very informal setting with unfinished floors. I saw one couple with a toddler and highchair.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking is on the street, so access to the sidewalk may be problematic. But from the sidewalk, the entire restaurant is accessible. I can't vouch for the bathroom, not having used it.

We wanted to try this vegan restaurant for quite some time and today we had lunch .I want to state I’m not a very big fan of vegan but I do want to start eating healthier. The structure here is medium in size the last time I was here it was under another name and not vegan at all that was decades ago. The place has been totally remodeled. It’s nice inside plenty of tables and a few outside to sit down and enjoy your meal. This is a totally vegan restaurant. The substitute meats are dairy and soy. We ordered Carne Asada tacos and Al Pastor tacos, beans and rice and chorizo burrito .The tacos were not to my liking but with that said my girl loved them .Now as for the chorizo burrito ,it was delicious .I really enjoyed that. We also ordered a cucumber water and a Mexican Coke. The cucumber water was made perfectly and of course the Mexican Coke always quenches the thirst, this is a family owned restaurant. They started it here about five years ago and was named after the family patriarch . The prices are reasonable the customer service is excellent friendly and courteous. I’m sure we’ll be coming back soon. There is a small parking lot in the back with handicap stalls. There is street parking. Love coming to Borreguitas but I wish they could ditch the plastic cups and styrofoam containers! Also, for some reason the A/C was running on a cool evening in mid-winter. Not only was it uncomfortably cold, it seems wasteful. Otherwise, no complaints. Will definitely come back and make sure not to order anything that is served with plastic.

This place was really, really good for being vegan. And everything was on point the food was outstanding. Flavors outstanding portions excellent. All was good. Only one thing when we got our meal it was not hot. It was not warm, it was look warm. That was very disappointing. Definitely, we'll be trying again and see what happens. So this was maybe two months ago when they were getting through the remodeling. Thank you for your service. ?
The food is shockingly good for vegan. We had the asada burrito (excellent), a soup which was great, a potato and cactus taco which were great. The guacamole was loaded with tomatoes - really good. Service was competent and pleasant. The interior has booths with really bad formica.

All Vegan Mexican restaurant. Everything was flavorful. The Pozole had a lot of hominy and the tamale rajas y queso tasted very authentic. Husband ordered tacos and a burrito and I had to try it very good.

This place is a gem in Pomona. I have been a few times and it's always delicious. This time it was Taco Tuesday, when vegan tacos are 99cts each! I had a variety of them, loved them all, especially the yuca and salsa verde taco as well as the pastor. They have tamales on the weekends. Pictured is what I had last week, the nopales breakfast with champurrado. The champurrado is warm and so tasty. Amazing that it is mostly VEGAN. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out. ♡
