This place has been here since I was 8n high school, so it was fun to go back after all these years. Great location on the bluff overlooking the I 10 freeway with views of the entire valley. Walk down stairs into the old mine with loose rocks between planks on the wall and lots of old mining equipment. (There is a handicapped entrance with no stairs) To the right is the Rattlesnake lounge, which is huge with floor to ceiling windows. To the left, the multi-teired dining room where everyone has a view. Dinners come with a real salad bar featuring all my favs and a soup bar. You can have both and all you want. The serve a large basket of very tasty cheese bread. Bottomless and very good.I had a New York steak medium rare with the garlic mashed potatoes with the works and green beans. The steak was a little thin for my liking but cooked perfectly, flavorful, and tender. The garlic mashed potatoes came as a huge mound with butter, chives, bacon bits and sourcream. We all agreed they were fantastic, but much more than we could eat. The wife had shrimp and scallops that she reported as very good. The service was delightful, friendly and top notch.Highy recommended.

Everything was fine except the parking. Not enough handicap spaces. Valet didn't seem to know what he was doing and the cost was too high.Parking: Not enough handicap spaces and the valet was disorganized.

My husband and I have pass by this restaurant several times an wanted to stop. Well today was the day. It was our first time dinning there an not only was our dinner Great, but our waitress Missy was terrific . The young lady at the bar was terrible an made us feel welcome. We had a great time an plan to go back again. Thank you Pomona Mining Co. Joe & Angie Marquina 10 stars

This was a good brunch buffet, but not great. They had plenty of variety ? we had waffles, cheesey eggs, bacon, sausage, chilaquiles, salad, menudo, beef ribs, barbacoa, salmon, crab legs, shrimp, pan dulce, chocolate cake, strawberry cheesecake, banana nut muffin, jello, flan ? and there was more! ? A solid variety of food to choose from, but I think some flavor was missing for some items. Because of that I'd say the brunch buffet is not worth the price. The variety blew me away, but the missing flavor didn't justify the price. $47 per adult, $22 per child. The place does have some tables with a great view, I'd say reserve in advance and ask for a table by the windows for a nice experience ?

I’m honestly surprised, this place had such great reviews. You have to pay eight dollars for valet for spots that are about 10 feet away; there is no self park except for a few spots on the hill. Some of the valet crew was straight up rude. We had a reservation and had to wait anyways, standing in some empty room near the bar. Food was overpriced for what it was. Low in flavor and high in oil. Our wine was disappointing; I’d rather have gone to Trader Joe’s. They only had two generic draft beers. Our waitress was very nice but either disappeared for long periods of time or was checking in every 20 seconds. She wasn’t very knowledgeable about the drinks, and didn’t explain to us how the salad bar worked. The salad bar was nothing special, despite it being $26. The decor is very cute but very few tables get to see the view everyone comes for. Maybe they were just having an off night or training new staff, but I was disappointed based on the former reviews.Vegetarian options: There is only one vegetarian option and it is a generic veggie plate. Essentially, non-fancy bunny food.Parking: Only valet parking. They don’t let you self park despite the parking lot being empty. Only self park options are down the hill. It would have been faster just to walk to my car.

Went here for my birthday. Food was great, but the restaurant was loud with larger parties. Try seating people better that are out on dates.

Waitress was extremely rude. I asked for an appetizer, an entree and a side dish and she just assumed i’d be sharing the dinner and added and extra $10 for some salad bar service I didn’t request. The food was garbage.
