**Five Stars for Tacos Don Cuco: A Flavor Explosion!**#11 Review for 2024# 432 Review All Time!!This taco stand is an absolute gem! The flavors are sensational - each bite bursts with the perfect blend of seasoned meats and vibrant, zesty toppings. The homemade tortillas are a game-changer; you absolutely must try them with their irresistible Mulitas. And oh, their Pastor with pineapple is simply amazing! On top of the incredible food, the service is quick, the staff is friendly, and the prices are incredibly affordable. For anyone passionate about tacos, this spot is an absolute must-visit. I'm already planning my next trip back - Tacos Don Cuco has won me over completely!

The tacos used to be so good I don't what happened to this place. The adobada was crunchy dry felt like it was reheated and tasted like that. The asada was bland no flavor. The tortillas were cold. Definitely won't be back this is the second time the food was bad. Such a shame

Driving down W Mission Blvd Friday night after seeing a play at the PUSD Auditorium, looking for a bite to eat, when the light & a crowd of people caught our eyes, had to make a u-turn & check it out. So glad we did. We were at Tacos Don Cuco TJ. Tortillas a mano, great selection of meats & items & welcoming smiles greeted us. Super recommend. Food delicious & the tortillas a mano thin & tasty. Must go again.

The carne asada was so hard to chew it was so hard and I’m not sure why they don’t try their food before serving it. The meat and salsa, tortillas, guacamole had no flavor no seasoning. But the carne asada they are using is not top quality and they are charging it! Very disappointing don’t go there! ??

taco stand that specializes in tijuana style tacos... honestly some of the best tasting street tacos I've had! The tortillas are made to order, so everything is fresh. The asada tacos are so tender & smokey! I love coming here because the workers are very friendly & appreciative of tips! (Seriously- they will express their gratitude when tipping) Ordered 8 tacos + drink and everything came out to be $31.

Man what happened to this place ?? Used to be an ok taco place..now it sucks!!!! Like really really sucks !! I order 4 asada and 2 chorizo . The chorizo were ok but the asada was all reheated meat and hardened with no flavor .. even the tortilla was not freshly made .. again this place used to be good now it sucks and I'll never come back here again!!

Got 12 tacos 2 quesadillas and two flavor waters for $75.00 good tacos but too expensive for my taste.5 of the 12 tacos were lengua (thong).

Had the pleasure of checking this place out. I definitely wanted to try more of LA's Mexican food and this place was good. We ordered their al pastor and asada tacos. al pastor had a lot of crunchy caramelized bits but I prefer soft. The asada texture was softer but I preferred the flavor of the al pastor more. For my friend it was the opposite. I would pass on the al pastor tostada next time, it was meh compared to everything else: too much crunch in the meat with the shell. Definitely get the molitas and I would get that with chicken next time since that was also al pastor. The pollo quesadilla is also really worth it as well and has a good ratio of everything. their guacamole could have used some seasoning but i would rather something be bland and unsalted rather than too much of both. i think if they put a tad bit more seasoning on their chicken and a little salt on the guacamole, it would be perfect. their pineapple juice was so fresh and pulpy. The first part of our order was four al pastor tacos, al pastor tostada, al pastor molita which cost $29. The second part of our order was two asada tacos and one pollo quesadilla which cost $16.They are super quick to fulfill orders and regulars helped us on what to order as well. I want to go to other places to build my palette and see how Tacos Don Cuco compares.

It feels like a family run operation. This place is located off of Whittier, a main street in East Los Angeles. This stand specializes in Tijuana style tacos. Folks here or friendly and it has a cool, welcoming vibe to it. It's also cash only.I came here on a weekday night on my way home from work, so just like me, it was obvious that other people were just getting off of work as well, trying to grab food.I ordered my usual when I go to a new spot: tacos and a mulita. I got carne asada tacos and a chorizo mulita. The meats here had a delicious smoky flavor. And the tacos received that signature Tijuana style taco dollop of guacamole. Oh, and they have the masa to press and make the tortillas fresh here.Once you order and they had your food you go to pay off to the side. Over there there's some sauces and fresh limes, cut up as well as grilled onions. This place pretty much ticks all the boxes of my favorite types of taco places: delicious, fresh tortillas, reasonably priced, and fresh produce for the toppings. I'm a huge fan and I would recommend for sure. Parking is pretty easy as well as it's located in a pretty big lot. I was able to find parking really quick and easy.

Best freaken tacos!!!Came here recently to tried them out.Was not disappointed.I order two asada mulitas with avocado!!!The tortillas are hand made to order. They added some cheese which melted right away...Mmmmm, delicious There's a lot of parking around, they've a few high tables if you wanna munch right away, no seats.I recommend you enjoy it in the comfort of your car, do not leave the premise 'cause you'll probably want more! There was a line and the wait time was a little long but totally worth it, guess they just happened to be busy that night.I also tried their agua de jamaica (hibiscus water). Totally worth it!Bring cash!!!

Had Tacos Don Cuco at Night Market El Gato and was overall a great experience. Tacos were $3 each. The al pastor tacos were delicious, though the carne asada were not as flavorful. Really appreciated that the tacos came with generous servings of guacamole; the servings on some were even a bit overpowering.Service was fast and friendly. Food truck ambiance at the Night Market was festive.

Not worth the price, the carne asada meat had so many pieces of chewy fat still left on, and tortilla had no flavor. Very expensive for the quality of meat they were using. The salsa containers were filled up 1/8 of the way. The quality and quantity there isn't matching the amount they want to charge. Honestly never going back, I only came bc the reviews looked good. Definitely a waste a money.

Very delicious, handmade tortillas and the sauce is very rich, we went by quickly but we are going back to eat there and have a better experience because we ate quickly but the seasoning is delicious ?
