Have you tried hot pot before?If so, this is a great place to settle any cravings. If not, still a great place to try it for the first time.I gave it a 4 star because I’m very used to control the temperature and add more ingredients as I eat. I’m aware I’m comparing it to other experiences and restaurants I have had. So, I’ll keep it simple, the ingredients, broth and the menu overall was amazing. The menu has variety but I only went to try their hot pot which didn’t disappoint until the shrimp. I’m very picky with shrimp and I would not order it again, it had a non shrimp particular taste and disolved oddly. No idea what was that caused it but don’t want to find out.I will be going back to try different hot pots specially their broths.I ordered the Veggie broth and their Ragin special hot pot. You can see it in the menu I have attached in the pics.The fire is limited as it’ll blow out by itself after 10-15 min and the food and broth will start to cool down. I had an extra plate to pull my food out while the rest kept cooking and it was helpful. But I still wanted to control the heat.I hope this was helpful and that your experiences surpasses mine.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian hot pot, veggie base pho, veggie gyoza, vegetable egg rolls, ramen bowl w/ tofu and so much more.

This place is freaking awesome!!The atmosphere is cozy!!The service was beyond amazing, everyone was so friendly and made us feel at home!!And the food… the food was just immaculate!!Definitely a gem!! ? ? ❤️

At first I was excited to go visit this restaurant, but the waitress had a bad attitude, is like she doesn’t want to do her job and unfriendly. The veggies, is very small cut. The meat and fish balls is limited. This restaurant is below my expectations, other Jpot I had been through is way better than this. I don’t know why some people give them more stars.

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Ventura county. In the three years I’ve lived in California I’ve been hard pressed to find someplace that delivers the way Ragin’ Pot does. Price, taste, options, and service all coalesce into the perfect establishment. Much love to John and the crew!!

Service was excellent and friendly, the food was delicious, ingredients were fresh. The experience was somewhat uncomfortable with the inability to control the temperature of the food served in the hot pot, and while I understand that this is the nature of a hot pot, a way to transfer the cooking food to another bowl or plate to cool down enough to eat would have been helpful as the food continually cooked over the open fire. Again, the food was very tasty, just difficult to eat at the temperature it climbed to. Overall, a unique dining experience that is worth revisiting.

I've passed by this place numerous times waiting for the perfect time...so when it started raining I jumped on the chance to eat here. All I can say is damn!! This place is so good! Best part is u get ur own hot pot and not sharing with other people. Alot of choices on broth and ingredients to choose from so everyone should be happy with something...on a side note the playlist playing was awesome....ahha....I would say the only part that wasn't good is the owner is a niners fan. Hahah...other than that this place is great.... especially for Oxnard since it's always cold

Great food, great service! We were a party of 9, and the owner was super helpful in helping us choose entrees. We ordered the chicken pho, udon noodles, drunken noodles and chicken fried rice l, and everything was delicious!
Everyone was so polite we were seated immediately! Our orders were taken quickly. They checked up on us made sure if there was anything else they could help us with! We would absolutely come again!!Parking: Parking was available right in front of the restaurant!!
If you like Pho, I highly recommend trying this place. Great menu options, customer service was great, and at a very reasonable price considering the large portions you get.Food was delicious and most importantly fresh! Definitely making it a go to from now on…

This was a nice atmosphere I was expecting great food and service. However upon ordering the server was unable to accommodate for any substitutions. This isn't a good spot for Ramen and the Hotpot was just different. They charge extra for everything but are ok if you ask them to leave something out. They use a lot of filler and not much meat or substance to the hotpot. To save broth They add all of the meat and ingredients to the bowl for you. I don't recommend this place to be honest I had higher expectations and was let down. Even after I ordered 2 hotpots and didn't like mine. So in addition I was going to order a Ramen until they told me it came with pork and even if I didn't want the pork they would charge an extra 5 dollars for chicken. But were ok if I didn't want the pork. Don't recommend. The server wasn't even able to help me or even seem like she cared or would try to make my experience better. ? no Bueno in my opinion. Don't come here.
