First time here and it was for a large event that they catered. We had the entire place. The staff was very helpful in setting up like we needed. The food was cooked to perfection. I was really impressed with the variety for a catering style. The courtyard was very handy for us. The band had a stage to play on. The seating for guests was plentiful .

WOW just WOW,What can I say i wanted lasagna, I got LASAGNA!!!!!!!!My Wife's Chicken parmasian, was the size of a Frizbee and the flavors in every dish were absolutely delightful and bright with basil notes everywhere. We started the night at another Italian restaurant who was going out of business and 50% of the menu was off the list Thank God we didn't settle, and left and arrived at Italian food Heaven Don Vinos!!!! The bread tastes home made and home baked and so fresh, the bruscetta and caprice salad were fresh with real motzelrella. I might come back to the whole town just to eat here again Bravo Don Vino!!

While working in Porterville, we asked our hotel staff about good places to eat? The response back was that the Italian restaurant has good tacos on Tuesday. The were right!

I took my family here for dinner and the server was very friendly and helpful! I was very satisfied with the service and felt welcomed here by the staff. The food was a different story for me. I enjoyed my steak and my wife enjoyed her chicken picatta, but none of my other guests enjoyed their chicken alfredo. It came really bland and adding salt and pepper can only help so much. Some of my other guests also didn't like their meals much, but still ate.As for drinks, we all enjoyed the lemonades we got and I personally lovvvveeddd my espresso martini. Will be returning for that if anything.

It has been years since I've been to this place and I recently found my way back. It was so busy and lively! The bar was hopping! Food-wise, the place seems like it's suffering from an identity crisis..... is it Italian? Is it Mexican? A bar? All three? Either way, definitely a mix and not necessarily a bad thing. The mojito was delicious, the strawberry chicken salad was shockingly good. The chicken was a little dry, but I would definitely order it again. We had apps for the table - calamari and some cheese bread- and they were ok. Not sure if I'd order either of those willingly again, but they weren't bad. Would I go back? Probably, especially if those drinks were still good and I was with good company. I definitely want to try this Taco Tuesday everyone keeps raving about.

Luis is absolutely amazing! The food is always good, with the exception of the calamari. Stay away from the calamari, everything else is perfect!

The food was great especially the chicken farcito with panne pasta. I added veggies to it which added lots of flavor. The service could have been a bit better- I've ordered the nachos as an appetizer and yet it was the last dish brought out. And we weren't given small plates to service the nachos. I brought it home instead. The ambiance was exciting because it was Taco Tuesday and they had a JD playing songs so people could dance to it. On this day of the week it's best if you call to reserve a table.

Went here for a end of year dinner with chaperones. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the food was delicious...service was not what I expected. We had a party 12 and only 2 of the women from our party were asked if they wanted more drinks. Our order for dinner took forever and when we asked a server she said they were short staffed and would be with us soon. 30 min later no refills on drinks we finally got our orders taken. Seeing other tables after us being served was a slap in the face since they're parties were much larger than us. Trying to get the attention of a swerved and they I'll be back in a rude tone was more of a let down. Staff should be retrained in manners and customer service.

It's been a good long time since I've eaten here and so I was gonna give it another try ....until I looked at the menu . They have burritos, enchiladas and nachos on the menu. Please correct me if I'm wrong or that I got an out dated menu. This is a first sign that this is not Italian food restaurant . I could kinda understand if there were not sooooo many Mexican restaurants in town but here you can't throw a rock without hitting one. Which is fine and we have good Mexican restaurants but they don't have lasagna on there menu ha ha ha we need a good Italian place.
