Great breakfast. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The service was extremely good. This was a nice place to go for a larger group. It's budget friendly. The bathrooms are clean and so is the restaurant.

Restaurant isn’t what it used to be. It closes at 3pm for the day now, completely missing the dinner crowd. I understand COVID impacted so many businesses in the beginning, but it’s now 2024. This is shameful. The quality of the food has gone downhill, meals lack quality ingredients and freshness. Nothing has flavor and it’s all covered in grease. The atmosphere is no longer the same either. It used to be a warm and inviting family restaurant but now the staff acts like they are forced to be there.

The food was very tasty. The amount of food that was served was worth the price. This restaurant doesn't overprice meals and is very budget friendly not to mention the food is really delicious.. I would be definitely returning to this place.

I am 4th generation here in Porterville. As of the recent 6 months FOOD QUALITY and SERVICE has rated a "F". I have a travel business and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I ordered simple Sunnyside Up eggs and they came to me RAW. I figured I'd give it a second chance and asked for over easy eggs and runny and they came HARD BOILED. I asked Manager what was going on and he was very rude. I told him about my past two experiences and he was very rude.. I am now reaching out to the owner to complain because the service of this place has went down to the gutter And the owner does not care about the quality He was actually in back of the kitchen cooking, and this occurred with poor quality service happened.

Food was just ok. I had the chicken fried steak lunch. It was a frozen patty and not very tasteful. The coffee was lukewarm. We had a waitress in training. She was ok; but so nervous. I give her an A for effort.The garden salad was nice and large. The bottled ranch dressing was like water, and the Blu Cheese definitely had the bottled taste.

I had the most amazing lunch here. I had tri-tip , shrimp, baked potato, rice, veggies, and bread. Everything was absolutely perfect. My potato was overflowing with toppings. My steak was cooked just the way I liked it. I had not been there since it changed hands. I will definitely be back. By the way two could have eaten from the generous helpings I received. I wish I would have taken a picture .

Came to this cafe about a month are two ago manager was awful to his female employee who seemed like it was her first job he made her fell low never coming back to this place again with tht being said the cups and plates were not clean at all instead of the manager yelling at an employee he should focus on the filthy dishes they served the food on
