The food here is pretty good. The ambiance is loud and noisy with people over talking each other. We like to order Togo, but they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!! So when we REALLY want sushi in Prunedale we have to go to the restaurant, order, wait, and go home. ITS RIDICULOUS that they don't want the business enough to ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE!

Food was great. A little spendy but you definitely get what you pay for. One roll filled me up easy. Ambiance was clean but somewhat cafeteria like. Service was fast but not supper friendly. There is room for improvement but overall I was there for the food and it was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Can't complain.

Well what can I say, first time trying this place and I was very impressed. The decorations leave a lot to be desired but I care more about food, presentation, customer service, and of course taste! Me and my wife decided to try out the softshell crab, shrimp tempura, and spicy edamame to start. The seafood was fresh and the tempura was super crispy. Plus it was still hot when we received it. I chose the Galbi ribs with a miso soup and a Cadillac roll. The miso had generous amounts of Tofu and there was no shortage on grilled onions with my short ribs. My wife decided on a golden California roll and was pleasantly impressed with both the presentation and the taste. The cherry on the top was a Japanese take on a Mexican favorite, the Japanese Chavela was super good, loved every dish and the cost was very reasonable. Looking forward to going back very soon, our waitress Priscilla was super nice and attentive to our table.

I sometimes come in after work to dine in. Wonderful there. Just today was different. I ordered takeout and ordered tempura vegetables, but they gave me cold shrimp tempura with onion rings. There was no cups of soy sauce either.
Food was OK short ribs really had no flavor and portions were small my grandsons teriyaki chicken had more flavor. Service was GOOD food was brought out pretty fast BUT the sushi took for ever we ate all our food and waited WE watched the sushi chefs/cooks take shots witch was fine but shots while people wait NOT A GOOD LOOK.Finally we received our sushi but to my surprise there was a family that had been there before we arrived that we sat next to THEY hadn't received there sushi and where just receiving there's as we were leaving. The patients that family had WOW. To watch us eat all our food and then receiving our sushi before them and watching them take shots I'm sorry I would have walked. I've eaten here a few times before but I think this will be my family's last.

I love this restaurant! My favorite is the chicken teriyaki and shrimp tempura roll. It's really good. I frequently stop for take out on the way home to watsonville!Dietary restrictions: I can't eat onions and many places use onions in their teriyaki. So happy they don't!

This is where innovation can come to play- perhaps they should subscribe to a service that takes their take out orders for them. This would also prepare them for the next pandemic.

I used to go here a lot with my family but recently we ordered take out and they tried to charge us 20 dollars over what our total was which was 70 dollars which I normally wouldn’t complain about as long as the food is good. But unfortunately me and my moms rolls where absolutely flavorless just tasted like rice and I had stomach issues for the follow two days. I honestly would rather buy sushi from Safeway
