Portions were small compared to the price. Service was pretty bad even though there were only two other tables in the place. The ambiance looks basic and not really welcoming. Just plain tables and chairs. Staff was more or less just hanging out with their friends/family more than worrying about the customers.

Came here for dinner and then breakfast the next morning. Very friendly and nice family business. We enjoyed dinner so much that we had them choose what we got for breakfast. Very good.

I am very disappointed today, this is the second time we came for the buffet, and they did not have it. The service wasn't friendly. We weren't checked on for refills until our food came. This was the worst service I've had in a long time. I ordered the croissant with sausage. Waitress informed me that the egg was normally over hard, but I wanted over medium. Had to send back to have them cooked how I wanted. The food was delicious, just the service sucked. They never checked on us. If we needed anything, we had to find them. Most of their time was hanging behind the counter. The regulars were treated awesomely and got all the attention. Because of the food, we have been trying to support this business. We come from Salinas to support them. Now, we will be staying closer to home.

An empty place says a lot. The young lady seems tired of people. not very welcoming. the food isn't good I will say ok. This place needs some deep cleaning.

Let me start by saying if I could leave zero stars, I would. A few months ago, my friend and her boyfriend wanted to meet for breakfast/lunch after her doctor appointment. I said sure. And my friend suggested trying Stevie's. As she said she heard good things about it and it was close after her appointment. We met there I think it was around 10:30 am, so kinda in between breakfast and lunch, when we arrived, we immediately noticed that the tables out in front of the restaurant had not been bused, so we venture inside, I think there might have been one other customer seated, but we look around and there were numerous tables inside that had not been bused and cleaned, it was a mess. There was no one in site, and then a young girl came out from the back and told us to take a table. So we did. She brought us menus, and took our drink order. Which was coffee and my friend ordered a coke, she then disappeared in the back. She came back out and brought the coke, but we didn't get coffee, she disappeared again. We looked over the menu several minutes and was ready to order and the girl never came back from out of the back of the restaurant. I'm not sure what she was doing back there, but wasn't concerned in coming back out to take our order after about 10 minutes of waiting, we noticed a big family come in and sit down. More minutes pass, I mean there were. O other persons that they were even waiting on. and finally we decided we'd had enough so my friend wanted to pay for her coke before we just walked out and we actually had to yell for the girl to come out from wherever it was she was at, and we said this is horrible service we want to pay for the coke and we are leaving. All she could say is no need to pay for the coke, no apology offered or no excuse offered she just watched us walk out the door without another word out of her mouth. This is so far the worst customer service I have ever received. We told the family that was seated and waiting that they should probably find another place to eat. I mean she didn't even care that we just walked out. We ended up down the street at the country kitchen, had excellent service and good hot breakfast! Ugh... Teenagers? I'm not sure what was going on, but obviously someone didn't want to be there anymore and didn't want to clean the tables either. Never again there!!!

This place is so good! My family met up there for breakfast. The food was beyond delicious and the woman working (owner?) was so kind and friendly. Will definitely be back.

I was underwhelmed by my experience at Stevie's Restaurant. Despite its reputation, the service was notably rude--staff members lacked basic manners, not even offering a 'you're welcome' in response to a 'thank you.' The ambiance was marred by the constant broadcast of Fox News, which was a total turn-off. The food was just alright, nothing to write home about. In my opinion, this place is overrated.
