“I haven't been inside the new location (yet), however, I have ordered delivery and I'm thrilled to say the pizza is still as amazing as it ever was. My only disappointment is that pizza is all they're offering now. Our local Ramona community now has no Italian restaurant offering. Pizza is great, sure, but it is sad to see the rest of the menu items no longer available. With our local area saturated by Mexican food, fast food and very little in the way of traditional 'comfort food', I imagine someone could really capture a decent profitable following of customers with an Italian restaurant offering all the wonders of that cuisine. “My 4 year old loves animals. He knows just about every major animal and has the little toys to match. So when we surprised him with a spur of the moment trip to the Safari Park, he was beside himself.After a trek through what seemed like endless hills, we made it from the Walkabout to this pizza place. There were 8 of us, my family of six plus my brother-in-law and his husband. We opted to share the family meal for, gulp!, $49.99. Luckily, my brother-in-law had an annual pass so we had I think, 20%off.The meal came with 2 medium sized pizzas, we got one cheese for the kids and one pepperoni for the adults, a Caesar salad and 4 drinks. It's really meant for a family of four, so we really stretched it for the 8 of us. The pepperoni pizza only had 5 large pepperonis, so if you're a pepperoni fan like me, you may be disappointed.However, the pizzas, especially the crust, were delicious. It's cooked outside in what appears to be a brick oven pizza, but given the green nature of the zoo, it was gas fired. The cheese was melted just so and the crust had a crackery texture. I'm not much of a crust connoisseur, but I really liked this one. I'm on a keto diet and this crust was so thin I imagine the carbs couldn't be that much (I only had one slice).The location is right next to the carousel (which cost $6.00/ child) so there's something for the kids to do while waiting for the pizzas (which takes a long time...).I didn't expect such a wonderful and flavorful pizza just like my son didn't expect a trip to the zoo. Looks like both of us were pleasantly surprised. I just can't figure who was surprised more...“
“Pizza ingredients/flavors were all good. However, dough is too thick. Reduce the amount of dough by 20% so it spreads out thinner saving you 20% in dough costs also less dough means less filling leading to more people buying 2 slices instead of 1 and most importantly It'll taste way better not being soft and uncooked in the middle and more crispy. ; ) pizza was 3/5 +1 star for what looks like a awesome menu otherwise- which I missed- I thought it was just pizza until after I ordered....“
“I’m generally super happy with the pizza, the service, the promptness of delivery. The quality of the ingredients and the overall experience. I get pizza and pasta from this place every week, sometimes twice a week as I am a busy single parent. I tried to call tonight to give some feedback quietly, as it’s not a big deal but is annoying. Please cut your pizzas all the way, that’s all, nothing more. Maybe the cutter your team is using needs to be sharpened. The young lady answering the phone refused to let me talk to her supervisor. Saying no one was around when you could clearly hear the other employees around her through the phone. Look I get it, not every complaint needs to go to the manager, and again, I’m not looking to complain or cause trouble. What I do want is my pizza cut all the way when I order it weekly. Please sharpen the cutter in use or be more thoughtful when cutting so it goes all the way through the crust. This isn’t a big deal, it’s a small quibble, but I want to make sure it’s actually delivered to a leader, manager or owner who cares enough about the business to listen to the feedback rather than ignore it. If you make it impossible to give quiet feedback over a simple phone call, then I will just post it online. Jeez it would have been so much faster and less hassle to just let me talk to the manager. This won’t cause me to stop doing business with them unless they keep delivering pizzas not cut all the way.“
