Went to try this winery on Sunday 4/21/24 @ 12pm. There was no one there, a lock was on the gate. When I tried calling the phone number was disconnected. I googled the winery it stated the hours were 11a-6pm. I was very disappointed.

Really weird visit on a Saturday afternoon. The tasting room was closed and there was a little bar set up outside to the left. Looks like they were doing that for awhile but no signage. A man walked over from an outdoor table where he was sitting with a couple of others and asked us what we wanted.No menu and there were only two bottles of wine opened. Both reds, no whites. No wine tastings. I had to ask how much it was for each glass. I was told it's $10. Wine was ok.We came to look at the art anyways. A very eclectic collection and fun to walk around. This place has definitely gone downhill since I was last there a few years ago.There's a giant chest board that's literally falling apart with holes in the floor. The place looks a little unkept now, which is sad to see.

I bought a Groupon for this winery . It's in Ramona right off the 67 . They have a beautiful sculpture garden and the grounds are lovely . They have a giant chess board and bocce ball. Lots of seating . The Art Garden is worth a visit alone . The wine though was not the greatest . It's fresh made so it is not filtered and it does not taste aged . They only had 2 varietals. They did also have a fresh sangria that was fairly decent . Hopefully the wine improves but the location , gardens and art is wonderful

Beautiful winery with unique art and amazing views. Had my wedding here in 2019 and the owner was very accommodating and made me feel like family. Definitely a place where you can go relax and enjoy the beautiful mountain views.

I'm mind-boggled with the positive reviews of this winery. The location itself has the potential to create a nice ambiance, however, the grounds are rundown. The wine was not good, tasted sour or old. Also, the serving portion was laughable. Do not recommend anyone making the trip solely to visit this winery.

I'm not sure what's happening here. It's like run down art garden that reminds me of someone has given up on this place. They do have a lot of sculptors, but mostly dark vibes. Would've been a great Halloween place for sure. It's kind of abandoned art garden. Furniture around here are falling apart and kind of hazardous. Wine- no one liked their wine. Port? So sweet, can't even finish it, rest of the wine? tasted so tart, we didn't even try much. Honestly worst winery I have encountered but they have a lot of potential in the space.

First time we visited this winery we were very impressed. Went back with some friends from out of state and was very disappointed. The grounds were very unkept and some weeds were as high as 3 feet tall. The tables and chairs were very dirty. Just not inviting.

Which are incredible and I definitely encourage everyone to check this winery out for that sole purpose. However, one must also leave a review in regards to service and the wine itself. Upon finding the random corner for a tasting, the guy said it was over and the two remaining bottles on the counter was what was left. I asked if I could purchase a new bottle and he said he would open it up and let us buy a glass. We finally sat down to enjoy our wine and I refrained from spitting it up on the ground. It was horrible! I would give this place 3 stars if it weren't for the unique surprise and surroundings. See this winery, yes. Drink the wine, if you're used to box wine from your youth I suppose.

Rashelica Winery and Art Garden is perfectly named. The art garden is eclectic, excellent and exciting. Mostly three-dimensional and subject to the vagaries of Ramona's weather, the sculptures and castings are well worth the drive to Ramona. Add to that the ability to taste wines and enjoy interesting food, and this place is a Must-See Destination. The primary exhibit is an authorized and authentic replica of Michelangelo's Pieta'. It is breathtaking. Also saves a trip to Italy. The other displayed works of art are fascinating, if not intriguing. Some are humorous. Plan for an hour to view and absorb all of the beauty on display. Closed shoes are recommended. Then there's the wine-tasting. A flight of four generously poured wines du jour costs $15, and a small glass of iced sangria was thrown in for good measure. Today's four wines consisted of Ruby Cabernet, Malbec, Petite Sirah and Port. The Ruby Cabernet tasted too astringent, a sign of a wine 'before its time', and in my opinion should not have been served. The Malbec and Sirah were quite good. The Port was light and excellent. The sangria was delightful, but not quite fruity enough. It was a good tasting! The wine tasting service was excellent and friendly, but we did not order food, having stuffed ourselves at Josie's Hideaway in Santa Ysabel. The background music was Frank Sinatra crooning his classics. Perfect. My plan is to visit when pizza and other entrees are served. A simple phone call to verify would be prudent before embarking on the drive. This place truly qualifies as a "Hidden Gem".
