If you plan to go on a Friday or Saturday night, expect to have a great time with karaoke as they have this every week.Service on drinks can vary depending on how busy the establishment is on a given night, weekends are usually a 5-10 minute wait for a drink but the staff are very friendly and outgoing. April on Friday nights and the KJ Rosalie are a double team duo that is sure to make your night entertaining and fun!If you're looking to play pool, they have two tables at $1.50 available to play, one of them doesn't always work all the time unfortunately so there could be a wait to play if only one of the tables are working.Drinks are always tasty and at a reasonable price for the area, unless you plan on going hard that night, you'll probably spend around $50-$70 a night per person.Highly recommend this establishment as one of the top places to go in rancho Cordova.“

“Great people, good prices, had a great time! It was Super Bowl Sunday when we went, so we got there early. Lots of regulars brought potluck dishes and lawn chairs, and us two old ladies felt welcome and part of the party. Great little local hangout!“

“After enjoying glasses of chardonnay at nearby Luna Lounge (please reference my review if interested), my wife and I headed to The Blind Pig to enjoy a few cocktails. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly bartender by the name of Ronny. Our first round consisted of two dirty martinis (my new drink of choice), which Ronny put his fist (that's a good thing) into making. One of the things that I love about dive bars is the various demographics that usually frequent them (along with their interesting conversations). For our second round we ordered a "Manmosa (yes I know that sounds ridiculously machismo in 2024)" that Ronny insisted on putting a fruity spin on. Not only were we thankful for his suggestion, but his version was GOOD! In real dive bar-like fashion, Ronny provided us both with an extra cup to house the remainder of the Manmosa that could not fit into our glasses (another dive bar perk). As we sat at the bar, my wife and chatted while lightly watching the movie Step Brothers on one of the televisions. Although it was a fairly slow Saturday afternoon, I can imagine that this place gets pretty lively in the latter part of the night though. We observed lots of seating, games, and an area for karaoke (toasted karaoke is the best!). I highly recommend The Blind Pig if you're looking to have deliciously strong drinks at a price that won't have you waking up the next morning rethinking the decisions that you made the previous night!“

“Stockman is the Cheers of Fair Oaks! I have never had anything but a great time. It's a warm and inviting old-fashioned neighborhood bar. The tenders are part of the ambiance. They're great people. Food is nearby, but they have some chips if you want to keep your seat at the bar. All ages are welcome. It's a step into easier times.“

“Absolutely friendly never a negative experience here no fights no one gets buligrent and loud just real conversation yes older folks some young but calm fun setting with fun karaoke and I've used the men's rest room here and I'm female multiple times over span of 3 yrs. “Cinders is a great bar with a large diversity in patrons and staff. The owner, Andy Soto is a fun open guy that will get down with anyone. Kevin Frankenstein is a great professional bartender. He pays attention to the patrons and recalls what you like to drink. Beast, security: Great guy with a gentle giant vibes. Ivys Entertainment on Wednesdays and Thursdays is really amazing! Has the best sound system.“

“If you are looking for a neighborhood bar, minus a look when you walk in from all the "locals" which is typically, unwelcoming (personal experience from other local jaunts), then Tallac is your reprieve. The staff is friendly, as well as the regular patrons. Great drinks, clean, friendly staff and patrons...what more could you want or need. Enjoy.“

“The Idle Hour Is becoming better and better, this Diamond in the rough is becoming a value for its neighborhood crowd as well as the new crowd coming from all over Sacramento area, it may have been once labeled a dive bar' but in no way is that true' just visit the idle hour; and you'll enjoy the people and all of the bartenders. it's just really comfortable, "all are welcome" come in and check your problems and attitude at the door and have a good time; if you want to hear some music put your coins in the jukebox and listen to whatever you want! Also there's: pool tables and karaoke on Friday and there's a DJ Saturday night as well as plenty of good food on the menu! There's Morgan, Shawnee. and Brian who just returned to the Idle, all three are great bartenders they'll treat you right if not better! “Pass by this place often - great service at the bar, but it has been the food prepared by Kelly that keeps bringing us back! Fish and lobster tacos are delicious but this last time I had the bacon cheeseburger... OMG!! Wish I could have eaten two or three! And not a bad price!“

“Stopped by the bar next door to my dry cleaners with my adult twins to check it out on St. Paddy's Day. My hubby was out of town and they were my Uber for the night. It was karaoke night and the talent was amazing. The female bartender was all about professionalism and made sure she carded everyone which I appreciated. My kids are 22 yo twins and don't drink and she was all over them as soon as they walked in the door which is AOK because that's her job. I really like her. She made a mean martini, Shirley Temple and Roy Rogers for my kids. She moved endlessly throughout the room serving the entire bar by herself the entire night making sure we were all served. Lastly, they have a quarter operated pool table that my kids enjoyed I loved the sensational voices of the karaoke singers and the bartender makes some mean martinis.“

“I'm giving a 5 star review because all the bartenders. Anna,Tom and Kelly are always awesome. Rodney on the other hand was incredibly disrespectful. Even after buying him a shot he not only threw my drink away but continued to talk over me when I was trying to keep things cool. I normally tip minimum 20% but his attitude was not okay. And I think he acted out extra because of the tip which is extra wwrong. We have always been cool so unsure of the miscommunication but professionally speaking that's unacceptable.“

“I just spent a few hours at The Long Shot today, and found it to be a terrific "Dive Bar" in Arden across from Whole Foods. The bartender was very attentive, as well as handsome, the drinks were well poured, and the customers were fun and talkative. Just what you're looking for at a bar. I highly recommend the bar. “I visited on a Saturday night, not many customers at first, and 1 bartender on duty. Tony was very nice and conversational. Drinks ? were great, music was great. As the night progressed, lots of regulars came in that made the overall feel like old friends at a party. Will definitely visit again sometime.“
