I had the tri-tip sandwich and was not impressed. Bread was not fresh and meat was very tough. Prices seemed quite for a sandwich provided. This was my first visit and I will not go here again.

Jack's Urban Eats is my salad superhero! You pick the salad options, and they whip it up behind the counter like culinary wizards. The salad bar is a super fresh and often times seasonal, and they're not stingy with portions. Oh, and the Urban Fries? More like urban legends - unbelievably good! Even in the bustling chaos, they manage a food miracle with speedy deliveries.

Nice place to order food from. I used Google Maps to order two plates for takeout: tri tip and turkey.They both taste great and were promptly made. I would prefer dining in but due to time constraints I ordered takeout this time.Employees behind the counter were very friendly too.

Almost removed three stars but the overall flavor of the food combined with good service saved them. The meat combo plate is very good. Nice portion, hot and fresh, and combined with the tomato soup (why does every tomato soup taste like the one you get in the bin at Safeway?) it makes for a complete lunch. The Cobb salad was the harder item to dissect. The dressing was good, plenty of variety in the salad but the Salmon that came on top was so small. It seemed to be about 4 ounces max which ends up being not enuf to eat. It was also not warm and not that juicy so maybe it was cooked earlier and put on top to handle the lunch rush? Luckily the soup rounded out the meal. Another strange point was no bread was served (not even just a slice) with salad or soup. It was my first time so i don't know if that is be design or just an oversight. Lastly, my co-worker wanted to get a burger for lunch. This place has a grill, makes good hot meats like the tri tip, but does not offer a burger. How does that work? It is a good place to eat overall but the observations above resulted in a dual star beat down.

We always like Jacks for a great salad. And their salads never disappoint. They are fresh and good. With your choices of meat or tofu. Their sandwiches are also very tasty and they change their selections periodically, I appreciate that.
