Ordered off Uber Eats. They had a special fir B1,G1 free on their gyozas and crunch rolls; and that’s exactly what I ordered. I left a note for the gyozas to be cooked well done, and the restaurant honored my request. The food was great, especially my well done gyozas. 10/10 recommend.

Came for ramen, they also have sushi and a large menu with more options, alcohol available as well. Very fast service, large portions, very good food, would return and highly recommend.Parking: Parking is very hard in that corner and it’s a busy shopping center

We stopped in for lunch, before going grocery shopping. It was a very delightful experience! My wife and I shared two rolls, though the firestation roll was phenomenal and had good spice. We also had two mochis for dessert. They were also very tasty. Over all we had a great dining experience and a fabulous meal.

Oh, wow. I'm so happy my hubby and I found this gem near Trader Joe's, today. Our waiter, Nathan, was attentive and informative and amazingly right there whenever we needed something. He gave me a great tip on the Cilantro Albacore roll and I also added a vegetarian Fuko Maki roll. Of course, I always get miso and edamame when I eat sushi and it was "yum", as well. The brown rice green tea is delicious and there's a pretty teabag in the cup with no string and plenty of tea inside it so you can just add hot water when you want more. There were so many intriguing options on the menu that I know we'll be back ASAP. It's going to take awhile to try everything, like Fusion Sushi options and more. I can't believe how quickly our order came and how pretty everything was. The restaurant itself is adorable and clean. Once again, SO happy we've discovered this little oasis of deliciousness in Rancho. ?❤️

Great sushi and excellent service. Our server Nathan was absolutely incredible, he took the time to answer our questions and really made the overall experience so much better. We will definitely be coming back.

Came here for happy hour on a Friday night. It was a little busy. Got a pitcher of Sapporo for $9, a salmon sushi, a salmon roll, and a cali tempura roll. The food was good, however, the service was lacking. Saw our server leave and then it took quite a while for anyone else to check on us.

The food was ok, but service was horrible. I got my food first then my bf finally got his food when i almost finished my food 15-20 min later. We are supposed to get food at same time and eat together not separately. No one came and asked how the food was. Wouldn’t come back again.

It's always a pleasure to find a new, non-AYCE sushi spot, and Ozen proved to be a good choice. We might aim for happy hour next time, M-F, or specials between 11am and 3pm. We arrived before the usual dinner time, so seating was plentiful, and the service was great. One thing that I noticed immediately was the range of nigiri sushi is a few cuts above (e.g. Bluefin, Black Snapper, and no Escolar). The rolls do center around the classics of California/Spicy Tuna/Crunchy/Cream Cheese, with spicy California variation. I avoid cream cheese at all costs, but there are sufficient choices on the menu. Rolls are well made and filling, too.We loved the yellowtail carpaccio, and the baked mussels passed our approval, as well. The star, for me at least, was the 9-piece Omakase sampler that included miso (or a salad) and the choice of either a spicy tuna roll or simple California. Spicy wins 10:10. I was pleasantly surprised with the chef's choice of sushi, too. So good! $35 is a remarkable value. All-in-all, we enjoyed ourselves. Our main server was a nice guy, and other people checked in on our progress as well. It was a very good experience, all the rolls were tasty and distinctive enough, and beautiful presentations as well.

I would have given 4 stars, but they left my sunomono kani salad out of my order, which I really wanted to try! Also, their phone number never seemed to work for a long time and I've seen more than one number listed for them from various sources. I don't know how they can never answer the phone. I even tried the number listed on their actual receipt and some man said I had the wrong number...unless that was an employee's personal number. Odd.I've wanted to try this place for a while and finally ordered takeout on a mid-December Wednesday. It was moderately crowded since it was during the lunch rush. The interior is a charming little space tucked away, but it's a little inconvenient to drive to and park near since it's right next to an urgent care facility, a drive-thru coffee place, and a gas station/mechanic, and it's very cramped.I tried their chicken teriyaki, gyoza, mixed tempura, miso soup, and chicken udon (and should have had sunomono salad too, but like I said, they left it out). Everything tastes really flavorful , but not overly flavorful or salty (so 4/4.5 stars for that). The chicken was of nice-sized pieces and had the right amount of sauce on it and wasn't dry. The tempura fry batter is nice and light and not clumpy or in excess of the food itself. The prices are comparable to many others these days, I guess (a little pricey) and the portion sizes are pretty good. I would return more often if it was easier to get to, but for now, I'll probably get it if I'm in the area and in the mood for it.
