Honestly, walked into this joint with no expectations, it was across the street from Walmart and I was hungry. Did a quick check to make sure they didn’t have low stars but didn’t read any of the reviews. When that happens – expectations are very low, there’s no hype, no certainty that this place is out of this world dope. I Just wanted decent service and superb food. With sushi the quality is expected to be over the top.Arrived around 2pm on a Friday, initially it was just my partner and I then people slowly started walking in a 2 top, then 7, and another 2 after. It’s very small so it felt a bit crowded but nothing annoying. Our server was fast and friendly.Ordered: Lunch Special Maki Sam Platter – 2 Entry Rolls (4 Pcs each) 1 special roll (4pcs) and Sushi Sashimi Platter – 6 Pcs Sashimi, 4 pcs nigiri, 1 entry roll.The portions are huge both plates were enough for both of us (left with full bellies). I would highly recommend this spot for fresh sushi and great service!

Theres lots if 5 stars for this place that i don't understand and a friend of mine who come here said the chef gives free beer for a 5 star review..this was not my case lol. I'm sad, this used be my fav place, but last two or three times or sooo... have not been great, quality of the food went way down and prices up. Came to give it another try tonight but my sons food was terrible. I expressed my feelings about the dry and cold teriyaki chicken he ordered but couldn't eat it.... i complained to the waitress but she can careless, never asked how the food was so I told her. She didnt let the chef know and no apology and now here I am writing this review unfortunately we will never come here again sorry Rolling sushi and good luck ! This was not worth the drive there tonight or the last two times. I got say I gave it plenty chances because we used to love it but everything had changed and not for the good

Always like this place. Feels like new owner or something different. Staff seems new and doesn't know the way of the sushi. But portions are good and fish is fresh. Would've given it more starts but something seems off since days of old. I would recommend this place.
Every roll we order has cream sauce on it, it was too much and took away from actually tasting the sushi! No wait to be served. All the cream sauce was a huge turn off.

Needed a quick bite & Ordered 2 avocado rolls this evening due to already having to step on the roadSushi spot is the best in Rancho area.The Isabel Roll is the absolute best.Place is decent,Be prepared to spend money hereYou are paying for quality at this point.Inside atmosphere is a bit small.Place gets crazy packed so i will usually place only to go orders.I will call ahead and place my order.Then within half an hour my order is usually ready.Great sushi spot once again.Bar area is great to stop by with a patty of One.I also recommend the Edamame, & Heart attack jalapeño Poppers. Vegetarian options: They have amazing avocado rolls.Rice is cooked every day with perfectionIngredients are fresh.Nothing frozen here.White rice made with love

When i first visit, I didn't expect premium quality but now this place is a my favorite sushi restaurant in town. Chef, Jason is always welcoming. must try his bluefin tuna handroll(surprisingly lots of bluefin tuna in it and tastes amazing) and signature house sauce with sashimi salad. It goes well with hot sake. Shishito peppers is amazingly delicious. This place is underrated.
