Overall, I love this place. Atmosphere is fun, homey and comfortable. Some tables are a little tight but things can be moved around to fit. They have little things that show they care, such as the purse, coat holder next to each table. (See pic)Area to wash hands is outside the bathroom. You’re immediately served with pan dolce (pic). Chips and salsa homemade. Excellent. Cafe de olla was served authentically. (Pic)My only issue, and I mean only, was the wait time for food. A couple came in after my wife and I, ordered, was served before we got our food. Granted we had 2 more in our party coming later but we made it clear we could go ahead and get started. Chips and salsa appeased us but it was annoying. I really wanted to give this 5 stars across the board. But maybe that was just my experience. I would still make an effort to enjoy this cozy, fun restaurant! Full bar as well. Huge tequila menu (see pic)FYI — the long stringy things in the salsa is not hair, it’s cilantro. ?

We were very disappointed. It’s not worth of the waiting time at all.After we placed the order, we waited for almost an hour and finally received the appetizer. Another 20 minutes or so passed, then finally… we got the meal. The most important thing was that the food was just so so. I would say 6 -7 out of 10.Thanks to the server who provided us additional nachos. But our experience tonight was really disappointing. If we were not mistaken, some guests who arrived later than us, got food earlier than we. Why?? Because they got kids and they were celebrating a birthday? Maybe ?Very very disappointed. Even when I was about to lose my temper?, it was not surprisingly delicious. On a perfect score of 10, it would be 6-7 at most!After we ordered, we waited for almost an hour before the appetizers were served. Then I waited for more than 20 minutes, and finally, finally! Our order slowly appeared…In the end, the taste was just like that... The waiter saw that our faces were not good, so he specially explained that he was sorry because the new boss was short of manpower~But the guests who came later than us got their meals before us? Maybe there are children and celebrating a birthday?

This is the most authentic Mexican food! There’s a smaller menu because they really focus on quality, and each dish is made individually. The owner often comes out to check on all the patrons and see how they’re doing. The passionfruit margarita was too sweet for me, but the strawberry was delicious. They can make them sweet or spicy on the rim. Queso fundido (Melted cheese) was amazing: a perfectly crispy cheese on the interior with mushrooms on top. The tortillas were real corn tortillas. The enchiladas with mole sauce were amazing.
