We were cruising down Foothill Blvd and saw this place and on a whim we decided to give it a try. And we are so glad we did! We both got the tamale plate with rice and beans, with chicken/ chili and chili/cheese tamales. The tamales were absolutely delicious! They were fresh, loaded with flavor, moist, and super filling. The rice was fluffy and the beans were fresh and seriously tasty. Topped it off with a big glass bottle of icy coke with limes thrown into it..and we had an amazing meal. Highly recommend.

Location: Hidden, Parking: Okay, Service, Okay, Price for food received: a bit high. Overall: I have been to this place before and the food was different. I don't know if the Location has changed hands, but it is not what It was. The refried beans seem way too runny. The rice was so-so and of the 3 meals, only 2 were somewhat eaten. In a time when people are looking at why they are spending the amount they are. There needs to be a good reason. That is great food and awesome service. If any of these are lacking that restaurant in a few months, it will be packing. For this review, 2 stars...

I've never left a review on Google for anything, but I really love this place. The tamales are great. And I love their posole. I generally pick up orders to go. I love the Pozole Verde, and the Roja as well. The few times I have dined in was with family. Tacos, enchiladas, burritos, everything was good!

1st thing don't order online.Other than that the pozole verde is amazing , they give you all the fixins and you can request more or less of hominy or chicken.

Where do I start? Woke up with a craving for menudo and in spite of the low scores and bad reviews we decided to give this place a try, some times reviews can be deceiving but some time you have to agree because as soon as we walked in, the place had a funky smell, like dirty mop water, the guy at the counter was attentive, the older lady seemed grouchy, we ordered a menudo with the pata on the side and 2 tamales. We literally left the entire bowl of menudo and pata because it has been the WORSE menudo we have ever tasted. Juanita can menudo is way better than theirs. It had a very weird chemically taste, and even though we try to doctor it up, no amount of fixings helped the nasty taste. Like we say, we will try a place once and sadly this is the one and only time for us
