Very pleasant outdoor setting and service was exceptional! Minestrone soup and garbanzo salad both good. The menu is a bit bizarre with all sorts of descriptors new or foreign to us. Prices mixed to expensive. $8 a bit steep for plain iced tea at lunch.

Went for a girls lunch and thanks to our server Bryan - we had a wonderful experience. He was so professional and personable! The type of associate that makes you feel better about a Brand you already like! The Ritz components...location, reputation are always in play but to continue to polish a Brands image, you need people like Bryan. They make the brand come alive through one experience at a time.

Ladies and gentlemen, serving, ladies and gentlemen. The food was great, and the presentation was even better. The service was truly a VIP experience. Would highly recommend this place. 10 out of 10.

Kristy seated us at a beautiful indoor table looking out over this stunning property. We had exceptional service from Lauren, who was so kind and helpful all evening. We indulged in a very well-prepared Caesar salad and perfectly-grilled filet mignons, followed by an ice cream sandwich drenched in chocolate fudge. When staying at the Ritz, this is a truly exceptional choice for breakfast and dinner. We've also enjoyed the hamburgers for lunch at the State Fare bar right across from the restaurant. Far exceeded our expectations and the wait staff is terrific at both establishments. Highly recommended!

We ordered 4 dishes to share, and all of them were heavy on bread with minimal other ingredients and overpriced. The waiter kept dashing away before we could make all requests, would refill only some of our waters, & wrong orders arrived - lack of training or just oblivious? Love the atmosphere & setting, but had to make something else to eat when we got we got home!

I feel special when I eat here. Definitely recommended for brunch and lunch. Patio dining with a beautiful view of the Coachella Valley. Everything that has been tried on the menu is good and nicely presented. Hamburger is a good one. Great to take out of town guests to.

Table of 6. Service slow. End of night ticket said 18% gratuity for 6 or more. I assumed it was added in or would be added in so I left out the tip. The waiter noticed it was not included and said he didn't add it in and leaves it up to the customer. I explained I assumed by the small print it would be added in. He said “totally fine you've had a few drinks so it's understandable.” Actually NO. Explain your policy when you bring the ticket for payment and don't make a rude assumption it had anything to do with “drinking”. I had 2 Prosecco's. Doesn't mean I was inebriated and couldn't read. Exchange was weird.

Quick, easy, simple meal. Shrimp was deep fried but good. Soup of the day was fabulous. Christian our server was fabulous! Lobster cakes were very good. Will be our quick bite go to place. Wines were good as well!!!

The State Fare did not disappoint! The food, service, and ambiance were over the top. The location was absolutely perfect, with gorgeous views of Palm Springs. You must have drinks on their outside patio to take advantage of the views.

We have been coming here for years, this is the first time where I left feeling disappointed. The menu selection seemed limited, the $75 filet was tiny, the kids meals had weird tastes to them (pasta super bland, the burger had a weird aftertaste), and the crispy shrimp appetizer was WAY over fried. Just disappointed. The service however was amazing.

We were staying at the hotel, and decided to try breakfast twice here. The service wasn’t great, and the slowest I’ve seen anywhere in a very long time. On the weekend they were fairly busy. There was a buffet set up, but it wasn’t mentioned on the menu, or by the servers. Not sure how much it cost, or why it wasn’t offered.Pancakes were ok, but too much food. $12 for an orange juice they don’t refill is also a bit crazy. We gave them a second chance on our last day, and even though there was maybe only 3 tables max, servers seemed to disappear and it took forever to get waited on and forever to get our check. Not a high end experience for a fancy hotel.

While this has been one of my favorite restaurants in the desert for a few years, last night the food was way off. My salad was a bowel of croutons with unripe tomatoes and a bit of corn. My pad thai noodles were un eatable. My dining partner ordered mussels which turned out to be around 12 with two huge slices of bread and a 40$ plate of ravioli. We both felt like the kitchen is way off the mark and definitely not worth the time or money spent. On the positive side, our wait staff was their usual outstanding selves. Professional, warm engaging and made us feel valued and appreciated. I hope the kitchen can find its way back to providing quality food for value we can once again feel good about.

The food was very average at best. Pedestrian short ribs. Crab and corn. Ravioli was just plain blah. We expected much better food for the prices. Service was friendly and helpful but a bit on the slow side.

The online menu is not current. They could use a little more choices on the menu. The server was a bit obnoxious by every time he came to the table and called us “the (my last name) family” even though we were not all from that family. Great views. What can you say about a $45 margarita?

This is the perfect spot. I live in Rancho Mirage I come up to the Ritz to relax and eat. Every time has been perfect . The view is breath taking , service is wonderful , Everyone who works there is great !
