“This Zagat-rated barbecue joint serves legit dry-rubbed, smoked meats in the Texas style. True to down, the meats are so tasty and tender you won't need barbecue sauce, but they provide it if you prefer - I used some on the tri-tip. Prepare to wait in line, especially during peak hours. We waited about 35 minutes in line and we got there around 2:30pm on a Sunday. They also have a separate bar where they serve hard lemonade and a few other drinks and beer. I highly recommend this place and it's definitely one we would always visit again.“
“The food and ambiance was amazing , the food was flavorful and the atmosphere was great but felt very crowded in the small space . Only one gender nurtural bathroom so at times there was a long line . Our server seemed to give decent service to everyone but our table , she gave every other table touches and only checked in once after we had already finished our food . We felt very rushed. Overall I would recommend this place for the food and if you're in a hurry for table service food.“
“The owner of the bakery is such a lovely gentleman, and literally everything I've ever had from here has been absolutely delicious. Even coming in later in the day, there's always a great selection of delicious treats, and excellent service. As a long time aficionado of BREAD over in Santa Ana, I have to say....I come to Saffron for my baguettes now. No shade to bread, they're still amazing! But the baguette here is worthy of it's own review!“
“This is place is great! The food is phenomenal! The chicken is cooked to perfection! We had both rotisserie and spicy chicken with the lemon garlic potatoes and corn on the cob. Even our 16 month old liked the food! It's easily the best place to eat in the food court, no question!“
“Excellent atmosphere, from the moment you arrive you feel the warmth of a working family, they serve you very well, they are always making sure you are well, the food is very delicious and good presentation and portions, the chilaquiles I ordered were delicious, the breads they have They are very good, the decoration is very original and relaxing! Overall a very good experience, looking forward to returning again. Alex and Martin thank you very much...“
“Scott is always helpful and friendly and ready to make suggestions if I’m uncertain of a good choice. Sandy runs a beautiful, well put together restaurant and she’s always friendly. The food is always tasty and fresh and reasonably priced. I always recommend friends and family to come dine hereVegetarian options: The vegetarian options are plentiful and tasty“
“Shrimp tacos were our favorite. Also, we really like the Beria and the fried fish We also loved the nachos and even better was the drink of the day which was pineapple Fresca so, so good. Service was very good. I think our server was Alicia, but I could have the name wrong. She was a young girl, and she was very wonderful and she had her hair in a bun. The only thing that could possibly improve is having may be a little less spicy salsa or pico for the people who don’t like too much spice. Wonderful seafood, can’t wait to try more dishes.“
“Such a cute tea house. Their outside garden area is nicely decorated and the inside is really cute too. They have a small parking lot in front of their restaurant. We didn't know this and spent some time looking for parking elsewhere before walking to the restaurant. We dropped in and luckily they were able to seat us without a reservations. We had tea and desserts since we've already had lunch prior to coming. We would definitely come back to have their full English tea.“
“This was my first time coming here and our group had a great experience here. The place was relatively busy and we had a 25 minute wait for a group of four. The food and service was great and we highly recommend getting any of the fries appetizers. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.“
“The food is very yummy! We got the birria & shrimp tacos which have great flavor and broth in the meat.Would love to try the birria ramen & pretty much everything on their menu, it all looked so good. I also enjoyed that they seem to just specialize in the main staples you’d like to see at a Mexican restaurant and their menu wasn’t too expansive.Great atmosphere and service too!“
“What a wonderful surprise stopping by here after the gym thinking I was going to get different options of Gyro and Rice and there were so many offerings that were very healthy and appetizing. I ordered the Zoodles with the Salmon protein option and it was delicious. It was also a nice surprise that they serve equally yummy breakfast options all day long. I have my close to home healthy go to option that does not compromise on taste and plenty of variety.“
“Absolutely delicious, healthy vegan food. I had their fiesta bowl with jackfruit carnitas on greens. Big serving! My omnivore friend had to finish it & he was impressed too! I also took home some of their superfood granola. It was fantastic, but pricey at $13 for about 13 oz. Sparkling clean counter service restaurant with a small outdoor patio & tables inside. Staff was really friendly! Highly recommend Vibe Kitchen if you're looking for a great healthy meal with animal products. Food is made to order, and worth the wait!Dietary restrictions: Whole food plant based, vegan and gluten free“
“I went to this location the other day after my work and i had no idea which one to get and i was already tired lol. But the worker Bruna was so kind and was very willing to give me different recommendations on the bowls and explained what each one was.The service was also really fast. The best Açaí in town. So tasty!!Thank you Bruna!“
“After a long day at a conference at The Ritz, ten of us took an uber to this gem of a restaurant. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The smell of wood-fired pizza immediately set my mind on pizza and wine. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly. Everyone in our party raved about the food they ordered. Our server was delightful, fun, and knowledgable and she managed our party perfectly. I look forward to returning.“
“Stop by this place after brunch around the corner and decided to do the blind test of three different wines ..I'm far from an expert or anything but we did enjoyed and had fun trying to guess what our wines were. If you guess it right, you get it free!! lol Also ordered a charcuterie board Sat at the patio. Wanted to go to the upper level but they had a private party going on. It sounded fun! Hey, so if you're having some sort of private event, maybe you should consider the idea of looking up this place. Service was attentive. We had our dog with us and they were nice enough to let us bring her to the patio area with us and enjoy the sunny weather.“
“We stopped by Chaupain for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised with the menu selection. We ordered the quiche and croque madame. On of my typical gripes about quiche is it's never consistently baked. Either too dry or soggy. The quiche at Chaupain was anything but that. Nice and firm, but not overly cooked, the quiche was amazing! It paired beautifully with the tomato soup. So much flavor and we enjoyed every bite!“
“I go here basically everyday with my sister and they never fail! We both get the same drink every time and am obsessed! We will continue to go here forever! The workers, environment, and service is top tier! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!Kid-friendliness: Everything about the workers and environment is perfect for any age!Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair accessible tables which were helpful when I fractured my foot!“
“We came for the gluten friendly donuts and left completely satisfied. We tried each of the GF flavors and the maple vegan, all were excellent! The donuts are more like actual donuts than other GF donuts that we’ve tried. These made all 5 of us happy, so happy we are driving back for another round today. Also noted - this is GF in a Gluten Friendly atmosphere because they cannot 100% say there is no cross contamination because it’s a bakery with flour in the air. They do have a dedicated fryer and change tongs etc. 4 in our group are gluten sensitive and 1 is celiac. Nobody got sick ??“
“Good food and thank you to Asian gentleman with the glasses he is a hard worker. I see him running around cleaning and getting things done and the cook with the blonde hair too thanks for the food! He was nice as well. I appreciate a tidy chill restaurant!“
“Susie, the owner, is truly amazing!!! Their services are very good and their food portions are very filling. They also have halal chicken and beef which is amazing about their store and they taste really good, along with their desserts. Their smoothies are also a must try. Especially the strawberry smoothie where they use real fruits too. Must try!!“
“Great food! Super nice staff and very accommodating! We have a large and intimidating service dog, and they turned on heaters and gave us a private area on the patio! Staff made sure our entire party K9 included were enjoying themselves! Try the octopus taco!!!“
“OC Local is a big, clean, beautiful place to have fun and relax. Families, couples, singles, groups, and dogs are all welcome here. They have something for everyone!Troy and Patrick run the place, and they are wonderful people. Even when they're busy, they take the time to greet everyone personally.Good food and great drinks. The tacos and nachos are my go-to choices for food. They have so many beers on tap that is hard to pick a favorite.“
“Brewery vibe. Casual atmosphere. The $5 10 oz. Beer is a great option. Sat at a high top on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed the music from the local live band that was playing. Did not enjoy the seven small children and their three dogs playing on the ground in the lounge area. Does anyone else besides me, think children should stick to the playground and not be hanging around bars?“
“This isn't your typical surf shack joint. Typical beach cafes don't serve beef short rib sandwiches. Much of their menu is a step above what you'd likely be expecting from a location like this. From the outside it looks unassuming and familiar. You walk up, order, find a spot and grub. As far as I can tell, you don't need shoes or a shirt just an appetite. It's not refined or snoody, it's just damn good. They season their chips. The lowly give-away that most places serve stale as low-cost hunger appeasement filler, is done fresh and treated with care. Putting forth effort into making the most basic parts of the menu delicious means they really want everything they put out to be delicious. The thought and care behind the quality of their items is often sought but rarely found. Also, the salsa with their chips is really bomb. You can't go wrong with the BBQ short rib sandwich, chowder fries, or fresh ceviche.“
“I'm so happy we have a place like this in Rancho Santa Margarita. The service was awesome since it was delivered to our table by a cat robot. the coconut puddings are delicious and the smoothie was so good I finished it very quickly. The interior is very relaxing and photogenic. Prices are very reasonable and I can't wait to go back and try some daily specials they have as well!“
“We ordered butter chicken and Malai kofta and it was so simple and delicious. The owner of the restaurant is very lucky because their staff (from Mumbai) is amazing. They were extremely mannerful and welcoming. We came to the restaurant when it was almost closing but they were willing to stay back and served us so well and before leaving, they ensured that all our needs were met. Highly recommended. Very hospitable staff. Will visit more often.“
“This is an adorable cozy restaurant that we went to for a friends birthday. We had jokingly started singing happy birthday to her and they noticed and gave us a free dessert. The food was super fresh and delicious and the dessert was spectacular.“
“Was looking for places open after 9pm in the area on a Sunday and found this spot, 10/10 would recommend to anyone! The ambiance was warm and welcoming, we were seated immediately, and they brought out these crispy papadums (I believe thats what they were) with some sauces while we waited for our order. We got an order of chicken curry- which comes with basmati rice, chan masala, & garlic naan bread. EVERYTHING was delicious & came out to $43 total. I love spicy food & they let you choose your spice level for the main dishes so we did medium for the chicken curry, which was perfect, and spicy for the chana masala.. let me tell you that spicy level is SPICY but delicious, the type where you get a little spice drunk but the flavors are so good you cant stop eating it even if you wanted to ?My cousin and I each ate a full plate and still had a full to-go box to eat again (currently writing after that plate was devoured). The customer service was great, they checked in multiple times and explained everything to us, even the fennel seeds that they provide at the end to aid in digestion and fresh breath. I live about an hour and half away from this location & I already want to plan a trip to the area again so I can include this spot in there lol.Stop reading the reviews now and just go give it a shot, I promise you wont regret it!Vegetarian options: Highly recommend the chana masala, its a chickpea curry and was very tasteful!“
“Seriously amazing food!! I’m definitely a foodie and have been disappointed by a lot of restaurants in Dana Point, until I found Gianas! Tons of flavor and very fresh, with a beautiful presentation!! Highly recommend!Update: I’ve eaten breakfast here almost every morning. It’s that good! And the people who work here are absolutely amazing!“
“Had to have a cinnamon roll before heading back to TX and saw the pic on here and was like yum (but will it really look like that in person?).Had to leave in a little over an hour for airport and said it’d take 20 min so thought I’d risk it and burn some calories along the way.All I have to say is what excellent service! It was a Sunday and packed but got the cinnamon roll in less than 10 min. Had time to hike back and sit down to enjoy the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back for another!“
“So after reading about this Hillstone copycat we finally decided to try it. Houston’s which is one of the Hillstone brands has changed their signature Tortilla Soup recipe and not liking the new version I decided to try the Coastal Kitchen version. I rate it a 9.5 copy of the original from Houston’s. It needed a little more cheese but was excellent in every other aspect and it alone will bring me back. The starter salad with the honey mustard dressing was on point and actually better than Houston’s. Our guests had the chowder which in every way resembled the Houston’s version. Their French Dip was enjoyed by our other guest and the fries were perfect. My wife’s blackened grouper sandwich was merely ok and quite frankly since most of the menu is an excellent Hillstone knockoff then I would suggest recreating the Gulfstream Gulf Coast Style Fish Sandwich. The only negative menu item we sampled was the Chicken BLT. It was not awful but the chicken was overcooked as was the bacon and it doesn’t even come close to competing with the Ding’s Crispy Chicken Sandwich at the Hillstone locations. I’m all for innovation and signature changes but if you’re going to do that then maintain the same high quality and taste standard for all the menu items. All of us agreed we will be back to try the rest of the menu for lunch and dinner. Service was excellent and the atmosphere although a little acoustically challenging was comfortable and inviting. I came close to rating this establishment five stars but they just fall a little short of that mark. Still well worth a visit and I hope to revise my rating in the future. Look out Hillstone you have a worthy challenger and that’s high praise in itself.“
“misha was the absolute best worker ever give her props from the second i came into the store the way she greeted me and welcomed me as if it was second home and i was a regular even tho it was my first time. i was a little confused on what to get but she made it so easy she asked me my preferences and then proceeded to recommend me some options and i ended up giving her the liberty of picking out what to get and she gave me mango sago and it was GREAT it was so refreshing you guys need to try it. once again thank you to misha for the stupendous customer service!“
“Fantastic ! Everything is good ! Except the incessant asking me if that’s all I want, can they get me anything else, will that be all. It’s just constant asking me these types of questions. I hate this type of service. I want to scream “shut up already”! If there is something else I’ll tell you! Stop training employees this way!“
“This place only gets better! Really good atmosphere with friendly staff and patrons. There’s usually live music and sometimesKaraoke. It’s a San Clemente staple and a must try if you’re haven’t been and looking for a casual good time.“
“Always and forever!! This place rocks!! Consist great food on every visit and the crew and owner behind the counter are ALWAYS the most polite, friendly and professionalI always take-away here so I can't comment on the eat in sitch ... All I can say is that it's a small place to begin with so the eat in options reflect the small space.Very clean place!!I highly recommend!!“
“Love Paddy's station! We go on Thursdays for karaoke. The KJ hosts are awesome, they get the crowd going, and everyone is friendly and there for a good time. The food is good. Recommend the Box Car burger, fish and chips, chicken wings, shepherd's pie, and salmon. They have a good variety. ?“
“We visited this cute little brewery on a Saturday afternoon. We had a delicious hazy from a different brewery. We also ordered a breakfast burrito that was so good, we both agreed set the bar on what a breakfast burrito should be like! We left buying some of their IPAs to go, which didn't last long! In all, a great spot especially if you are heading down between LA and San Diego and need a place to stop and have an enjoyable beer.“
“The gals are so nice here!! Fantastic ice cream with fresh toppings and velvety chocolate! Highly recommend this location to anybody looking for a sweet treat! If you come here, get the toasted marshmallow with chocolate dip and graham cracker and vanilla, soft serve ice cream! YUM!!!“
“Went to Blooms Irish pub for the first time this past Saturday. We made plans to meet about 30 family and friends here. Owner Jeff and his wife Sindy were amazing to work with, the food was amazing, service great, atmosphere was fun with good music and pool tables. It was good drinks and lots of laughs. If I lived nearby I'd be a local at this pub.We had the corned beef dinner and fish and chips both were very good.We came back Sunday morning for breakfast; theHuevos rancheros and breakfast buttitos were so good.Great location near the beach in San Clemente. If in the area I would highly recommend checking out this fun pub.“
“I didn't know i could LOVE indian food until i visited Kiaan's. Oh my good gravy..... So tasty!!! I do not do spicy AT ALL so appealing to my taste buds can be challenging. Amrit couldn't have been more accommodating and assured me i would be happy. He was right. The chicken curry was my favorite. It was so creamy and smooth and delicious. The naan was perhaps the best i have had...loaded with butter and garlic flavors. The service could not be more excellent; the perfect mix of friendly and prompt and so comfortable. I know the restaurant is owner/ family operated and the attention to detail and care shows. Fine dining complete with white tablecloths and napkins. So very elegant and yet pricing was so reasonable!!I know they are now open 7 days a week and i cannot wait to come back with my husband! Such a wonderful addition to Talega in San Clemente. THE BEST!“
“5 stars for everything is a no brainer. Once you’ve tried it you’ll never go anywhere else. Barts is a true artist who can design and craft ANYTHING you ask. His work is worth every penny. He and his team will work day AND night to make sure you are 120% satisfied. You will not be disappointed, guaranteed.“
“FIG continues to be one of the best restaurants in Orange County. High quality, interesting food choices. Carnivores and diabetics can be very happy with a wide-ranging menu offering many options. An extremely good Caesar Salad that an only be improved with the addition of anchovies (didn't get the memo?) Fish options are uniformly good. One recommendation would be to order each stage of the meal separately (i.e., finish the salad before you order the main course, etc.) You will enjoy it more, and it avoids the sometimes problem of main dishes arriving cold.“
“Gorgeous cafe located on a beautifully renovated little corner of Dana Point. So many varieties of avocado toasts and mix of European and American style menu for all tastes. We had Avocado toast with arugula and Dutch Boy, they were both fabulous. All the staff that were serving us were super friendly and they looked genuinely happy to be there. One of my new favorite for weekend brunch.“
“Wow! This place hits the mark on all levels. Their double-fermented bread is easy on the belly and delicious — the next-best to gluten-free. They juice the drinks for you from fresh, organic produce that you can see in their fridge — talk about transparency in terms of customers seeing the ingredients. Their salads are so fresh, with interesting ingredients such as watermelon radish — yum! It’s the first time I’ve tried that. It has a slightly sweet flavor and very crunchy texture. I had the avocado toast and chai latte, made with coconut milk. The chai spices were really superior to any coffee house I’ve visited. You can purchase imported spices there and buy loose teas by the spoonful. I bought nettle tea. You’ll find cards and notebooks and even gently used fashionable clothes there for sale. There’s plenty of free parking and you can take a walk at the marina across the street to unwind. Bravo Organic Tree for your healthy, supportive, community-minded contribution to the world.“
“This turned out to be a great find. Everyone loved their food. It is clearly made with care and the recipes are delicious. Good portions at reasonable prices. They have a good size patio area as well as plenty of indoor space. We loved the fun repurposed seating like church pews and theater seats.Special shout out to a seriously spicy bloody Mary.My wife only at half her breakfast burrito as it was quite large. She loved the roasted green salsa.Myself and others enjoyed their take on shrimp and grits. Such a great combination of flavors. Not that many people there for Sunday brunch time which was surprising as so many people wait in line for brunch at other places not nearly as good.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, just curb at sidewalk“
“Convenient parking may be available in front of restaurant. There are only a handful of tables with seating for about 36 people. Always full so reservations are recommended. The service is friendly and efficient. They’re very keen to ensure you enjoy your stay and your meal. The hospitality is top notch and we enjoyed our lunch. Our first time here and we are bookmarking this place to come back. The food is delicious, generous portions and meats are wonderfully well seasoned and tender. The decor is pleasant and comfortable. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Great dining experience!“
“Very nice and delicious ice cream! Big servings but still worth it! The chocolate and cotton candy was nice. ( I know, not many people eat cotton candy ice cream. Still.) Will come again soon!!!( My nephew got cookie dough and my niece got vanilla. They are also scrumptious)Vegetarian options: Have vegan options for vegan people“
“I’ve given 4 stars because while the pizza was good our requests for a custom pizza were messed up and the amount of bacon on the pizzas was overwhelming. It ruined the taste and we had to scrape a lot of it off. The atmosphere is really really cool and they have lots of games for kids but their attention to the food is lacking.Vegetarian options: They have a wide variety of vegetarian options but be careful if you are splitting a pizza with a meat eater because they are very bad at keeping the meat to one side. I had bacon crumbles all over my side of the pizza.Parking: There is a small lot for the restaurant and street parking.Kid-friendliness: There is so much to do for a kid here. Lots of arcade games which seemed to be a hit with the kids dining.“
“Ordered an assortment of bbq for a family meal — 1 lb of Tri tip, pulled pork, whole chicken, bbq beans, potato salad, coke slaw and bbq sauce. Their ordering system said to pull up at 11 and staff would bring it out but they hadn’t even started our order at 11 and we had to lug the food ourselves. (So much for the tip I included). Food was succulent and moist with an intense Smokey flavor. Good tasting but very pricey“
“Great location! The staff are welcoming and courteous.Did I mention the location, great spot and a nice patio facing west with sunlight at all the right times. My only issue... the patio is generally pretty messy. Doesn't matter the day off the week or time of day the tables don't ever seem to be cleaned. Inside seems on point, but I come for the coffee and the sunshine.Anyhow. Great people. Starbucks coffee.Highly recommend the location but the patio area could use some attention :)“
