Twice I have purchased the cream cheese pie that was completely spoiled, and once again I was had to throw the pie away due to the pie being uneatable.Initially, I thought perhaps it was a fluke the first time this happens and thought I should always give the benefit of the doubt, so I came back again, this time almost 6months later and the same thing occurred on March 4, 2024. The cream cheese was completely spoiled, not eatable and when I came in to inquire how to rectify the hazardous issue regarding food, while on crutches and in the train, no less, to ask for any recourse that I would have as a customer, not to receive anything back, but rather to deal with the root of the problem, so noone else becomes ill or has to experience what I have experienced.The cashier or staff person was completely rude, dismissive, and it took her some time to pull herself away from her personal engagement before even acknowledging me. She stated that since they are not part of the Marie Callender’s franchise, then they are not liable and I am out of luck, and I quote, “sometimes this happens.” Wow, so getting a customer ill with badly prepared food is okay?I know this isn’t true and I will do my due diligence. The stance and/or position of the staff member was one of indifference for the health and safety of customers. Their employee who was also violatile attempted to display no customer service. It appeared business as usual.I would really check the pie, and I can only speak to the cream cheese to be fair when spending your hard earned money, but most importantly not jeopardizing your health.Customer service is a choice and being kind is a choice and this establishment has neither.

Bought a Lemon cream cheese pie, and a double blueberry pie yesterday, got them home, realized after one bite, that they were both old, and not properly being rotated.The crust on the double blueberry pie was ashen white and mushy, most likely the crust was not properly cooked, and then the pie was not moved out after day old status had expired.Worked for Marie Callender's for a little over 10 years, I made the pies for most of that time. Our policy then was if the pie didn't sell by the end of the second day, it went into the trash, or home with an employee.The lemon cream cheese, the crust was wet and mushy, and the lemon pie filling was tough, dead give a way for a pie being sold past it's expiration.Won't be back, in fact this is the first bad Marie Callender's Pies I've ever come across.Months back we ordered pies at the National and Sawtell store, they couldn't have been fresher or more perfect.From the looks of other peoples posts, this particular location is dragging the company's brand into the mud.If you don't want to conduct business they way people expect you too, get out of the business. Your in the business of selling perishable merchandise. It takes an effort on ever employees part to handle that responsibility to your customers.
Everyone here is so nice and friendly. Tuna melt and fresh peach pie is the absolute best!!

The place was empty when I visited, so I can't say much about the atmosphere. The cashier was really cool I didn't like the way the pie in the display case looked it wasn't appealing so the cashier went back and grabbed a much fresher looking pie I appreciate that I did go in right before closing so I didn't hold it against them that the pies weren't appealing...

I've been waiting for my order for 40 minutesThe girl who works there is not very friendly. if he came for an order, he does it for a very long time and reluctantly. with her, the order can be a very long time to wait.
