First time although I had heard it waa a great restaurant. We were not disappointed at all. Excellent cocktails, amazing menu, delicious food, and superb service from Courtney. We will be back!
Reservation at 8:30 decided to get there early (7:45) and 5/5 for getting us seated at 8:15. Appetizer came out on time. Then the wait. 10:15 before food hit the table. A lot of apologies from staff and our waitress was amazing but can't speed up the kitchen. They ran out of the steak special, mashed potatoes and something else I forget because I was pretty upset at that point. I give a 4star rating because of staff and quality of food but should get 1 star for time. If your kitchen is backed up throw booze at my table don't tell me I get a free desert.

Another fantastic dinner out at Hanna's on Wednesday evening. We celebrated the 25th anniversary of our very first date. Remy was our server and she was so lovely - very professional and sweet and genuine. One of the best server's we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She was on top of everything. She ordered us a comped dessert too. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!! We are regulars at Hanna's - our favorite restaurant! Looking forward to another special night out at Hanna's, soon.

First time visiting on a Monday late afternoon. It's a great place to celebrate a birthday or special occasion. From the minute you walk in, you are greeted warmly and welcomed. Drink specials on Mondays are $10 martinis. The asparagus fries and edamame appetizers are so delicious and amazing. Erika was a friendly and helpful server making recommendations and offering great customer service. The only disappointment was the sourdough rolls. They were smaller and much harder in texture than I remember. I wouldn't spend any calories on these in the future.

Let me start by saying Hanna's is an excellent restaurant. As such, my review will compare it to other top rated OC restaurants, that like Hanna's are steak featured, such as: Mastros, Flemings and Capital Grill....There is no hesitancy when comparing the service, all professional, friendly and knowledgeable. ....The quality of the food is also comparable, but Hanna's selection of steak would be #4 on the list.......If there is a huge disparity it is the physical layout and ambiance. Although, the decor is well done, it's fair to say Hanna's is crowded and noisy and lacks the refinement of the other upscale restaurants.....However, If there is any one aspect that keeps this restaurant from achieving the 5th star and being one of the very best is value. I'll keep steaks alone, although beef Wellington at $75, is almost 50% higher than the same 6oz filet they serve. At the high end is lobster tail at $95. The 1 tacos at $17, is a good example of good food being overcharged....: Hanna's being “tucked away” near Rancho San Margarita might explain away some of my concerns , but in fairness its more an upscale Grill then mega restaurant. .... Nevertheless if you're anywhere in the area give it a try.

You can always be assured of a fabulous meal here at Hanna's. My husband had the fillet, he loved it! My son and I had the amazing bacon cheeseburger. My granddaughter had the prime fillet beef, stroganoff, and my daughter-in-law had the veggie burger. Everyone loved their food! And the Cucumber Sage Margaritas were delicious. We topped it off with a beautifully presented and delicious butter cake.

We attended a special wine dinner with a set menu so it may not be a typical experience at the restaurant. Having said that, the food was excellent, especially the sea bass and the wagyu steak. It was as very lively for a Wednesday.

Always a great option for a special celebration. Food is amazing and finely prepared. Drinks are good too. A bit on the pricier side is restaurant but for that special day is worth it .
Crappy customer service and consideration. Over priced. They were inhospitable and asked if 1.5 hours was enough to finish while I know I'd be dropping 3 bills on the Mel. I don't go to restaurants to rush my meal. It was an insult to be asked.

We love going to Hanna's with our friends that live in South County. The service is always friendly and attentive. We always enjoy the food selection too. A bonus is that they do not charge for corkage when we bring our own wine. It is a great place to enjoy dinner with friends.

I went there for a friends birthday. We both ordered medium rare steaks and both were well done. They were pretty good but it was the second time in a row I ordered medium rare steaks from Hannahs and got Well done steaks. Not going back there again anytime soon. I also received one Ice Tea fill up in the hour and a half I was sitting there spending $250 on a meal. There is a LOT of room for improvement.
We dine at Hannas frequently and it's always 5 star everything. Sorry forgot our servers name but he was exceptional. The restaurant tends to be chilly when they first open so bring a sweater on cooler days. Will return soon...
