Came in for lunch, place was full and food came out fast. Everything was delicious and the people are great. Nice service.

Good food here but absolutely the slowest service I've seen at any restaurant in Rancho. 45 mins for a simple order at lunch time is way way way too long. Warning for all those who have to be back at work after lunch break. You will be late.

The fish and other ingredients were fresh and tasted great. The service was fast and friendly. Restaurant was very clean and enjoyed the atmosphere

Cashier is friendly. Food is overpriced. Grilled veggies costed additional $1.75 which doesn’t worth it. By accident I ordered two “super” side dishes. Because I was in a hurry and not paying attention to additional charges. Therefore a simple take out dinner costed me almost $30. I will not go back.

The food here is fantastic! The fish is lightly battered, so you actually taste fish! Unlike most fish and chips where you get suvh a heavy battered fish, it's hard to eat. Spikes uses all the best fish and fresh ingredients in all their food. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Losing my mind over the poke bowl... SO good. I got one with no rice but added the chopped kale and it's amazing. Everything in the bowl complements each other. Nice atmosphere, quick and friendly service... no qualms at all.

Good healthy food. Monday booze, Tuesday Tacos, and happy hour specials are a great value.

The food was just okay tasting and wasn't spiced well, nor was it hot. I wanted to give this restaurant the benefit of doubt but the overall experience was underwhelming.

My first time here, but it won't be my last. The panko breaded calamari was so good, the halibut was cooked perfectly and I loved the tangy coleslaw.

We go to this Spikes all the time - the cooked fish is always good, the poke is always good, the seafood burritos and sweet potato fries are always good, the service is always great - very attentive and courteous. In short, we are never disappointed when we go there - we love it!

We love going to Spike's Fish House! It's a tasty, healthy option and their service is always fantastic. I've tried a bunch of their dishes but my repeats are Sesame Crusted Ahi Salad, Parmesan Crusted Halibut Small Plate, and the Teriyaki salmon. They have great fish tacos as well! The interior is always clean, and the staff is quick to clear/clean tables. The exterior has a few tables, which are nice to eat at when the weather is great and you want to be outside.

Fast food fish is seen as a healthier alternative to the normal fast food selection. There is a lot of competitors between Rubio's, Baja Fish, and now Spikes. This establishment is reminiscent of a restaurant you would find in a coastal down as you walk in from the beachfront. The ambience is no frills as quiet and simple. The service is solid as courteous and efficient. The food has been a mixed experience as the first time had a California poke burrito (with ahi tuna, Rice, Crab Salad, Guacamole and Spike's Sauce) that resulted in a bout of food poisoning vs. the second time had panko Cancun white fish tacos which were surprisingly good and would return for their taco Tuesday specials. All things being equal will return to try a third dish and see if the scale will be pushed one way or the other.

The staff seem pleasant enough and I wanted to like this place. Unfortunately. the food was a disappointment.A fish restaurant should know how to cook fish. They don't.They served me a portion of salmon that was covered in albumin from being overcooked and cooked at too high a temperature. It was inedible. In fairness to the young guy working the front, he did offer to refire my order when I complained. At that point I was full of salad and veggies so I took a pass.On the positive side, my wife liked her battered and fried fish and chips, although she disliked the cole slaw.
