Used to be a huge fan of this place, but haven't gone back since half the building was sold to one of the worst people in all of California just so a collective could open. Carlos: you are better than that and should have done a lot of research before doing business with a guy that is everything you despise.

The 4 star reviews are questionable. It's a dingy bar that may or may not be serving food. Friday at noon when I went in, there was nobody eating and nobody in the little pass-thru window where you could potentially order food. There were two old guys drinking at the bar and that was it. The bartender tried to rustle up somebody to take our food order, but before she was able to get anyone, we had already decided to go to a restaurant instead. We had only gone there based on Google reviews. It's just a waste of time!

I have gone here before, and while I've never been impressed with their burger, that tastes like it was made in my own kitchen at home... The treatment I received last night was beyond ridiculous. Last night I was out. I walk upstairs. I'm at the bar the bartender asked if I want to drink. I said no. Thank you, I asked for a water and about 5 minutes later there's four people walking me out as if I just committed a crime... I did? Because I don't.... I have no clue why I was walked out. I asked what the issue was and they said you just need to leave. I said that I was there with someone and they wouldn't even address that... I decided not to cause a scene and I walked out with a dumbfounded confused look on my face and that was about it. I'll never go back there again. Thank God I wasn't by myself. Thank God it wasn't late late into the night if I was say with like a couple of girlfriends and I didn't have my cell phone or any way to contact anyone.... I just don't understand how they came to the conclusion that 120 lb 5'5 female needed to be escorted by four giant people.... It was intimidating and it was embarrassing. I officially hate this place. The food the cramped environment and the rudest bartenders I've ever met. Not to mention the most unprofessional security that has absolutely no explanations to someone who is not only not drunk, not belligerent not yelling not being rude at all.. I honestly handled it with way more grace than I should have. It didn't even feel like I was being escorted by security. It felt like I was escorted by muted bystanders...Don't waste your money. There's plenty of other places to go for a good time. This place ain't it.

Loud but only because a game was going. Food was delicious. Poor lady in the kitchen is cook, waitress and dishwasher. But she makes some excellent food. Wife had brisket barria tacos and I had Tijuana street tacos with carnitas. Both very tasty.
