It's a beautiful restaurant for a lovely dinner. The new specials are definitely worth trying! The new head chef is bringing a fun new flare to the menu! A must try, even for locals.

We were told that they were open until 9. We had asked prior to gathering our large family together and met in lobby and went to eat at 720 and were told they couldn't serve our group of 14 because they wanted to leave early. Very rude about it also.

This place has potential Unfortunately, what doesn't help is the service. I decided to sit at the bar since the place was empty and there was only another person at the bar with me. This being my first time I asked to see the menu. The menu is quite small not many options to choose from so I went with the New York steak and mashed potatoes for dinner, which was amazing. The steak was so juicy and tender. To be honest. I didn't expect it to be that good. So I didn't know what beer tabs or beer bottles they had available. I asked the bartender if they had a beer menu and quickly he answered NO. I also noticed and attitude on his tone of voice and the way he said it. I ignored it and just said, can I have whatever IPA you have. My food came out around 10 minutes after and still he had not bring me my IPA yet. I started eating my steak without anything to drink until I had to wave him down and remind him of my IPA. I totally forgot his name, but I'm sure he's the main bartender at this place. He's an older man with white beard.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn in Redding, CA for work. This restaurant is connected to the hotel. They service breakfast and dinner and have a full bar. I've had their breakfast, all American and continental, pretty quick service. There's happy hour in the early afternoon and some snacks but if there's tons of people then dinner can get busy. Probably easier to go up to the bar to order than table service. I ordered the salad with steak medium rare, it was really good and a large amount. The steak was good, people were satisfied with their meals and it was easy especially if you were staying at this hotel. The restaurant was a little rustic but huge area that is good for a large group to work and they have power outlets. There's public parking and lots of space.

The Best kept secret in Redding is in a hotel, who’d a guessed… amazing pasta, amazing burgers, decent steak and really good fish, so I’d revamp the starters menu but overall this place is a Gem, just think HOLIDAY INN

With this being said, my big gripe is with how average the service is.The staff are quick to sit customers down with a menu and get drinks, but beyond that it's a long waiting period between courses and if they are busy customers might be waiting an even long time on receiving the bill. For instance, me and my Wife had to wait 40 minutes on our bill. Oof!

The food and the prices were fantastic. The atmosphere is a little quiet. But a good place to just enjoy the people your with. And the staff is fantastic. Especially Daulton at the bar, and Shawn the chef, makes some killer eats! And is very personable. Thank you all!
Shawn mellis is an amazing chef. His specials are very tasty and the presentation is wonderful I highly recommend the braided mane. And in today's world is very reasonable.

So the menu wasn't too complicated it was simple and the service was excellent. A good beer selection not too complex but very worthy of a bar. We got discount even though we did not stay at the hotel it was for 15% off. I'd go back or will go back next time I'm in town

Went there last night for a work party and decided to go into the bar to get a drink. Terrible idea! Friday night and the lady behind the bar seemed frazzled. Rough count of 10 people in the bar area. She told us she had to run to the kitchen to get someones food. We waited a few minutes ( no big deal he was there first) then she mumbled something and walked back in the kitchen. After 10 minutes of waiting plus her not so friendly attitude we left. Our party turned out decent. Wait staff were on top of taking care of pur table pretty good. The food on the other hand probably would have tasted decent it wasn’t cold. Everyones plates at our table were cold. I know cooperations use them frequently for parties so this is not their first rodeo. I hope they choose to hive some sort of discount and make this right because i know if this was me spending thousands of dollars i would be demanding some sort of compensation. If you mess up you need to address it and compensate for your mess up. Thats what any business with good customer service would do.
