Shut your face about this place! Absolutely mind blowing. The food and drinks were insanely delicious. We had Texas Flank Steak salad, Khalua pulled pork sandwich, Peanut Butter Pipeline smoothie, and tried both types of lemonade, and we topped it off with the chocolate strawberry cheesecake. Take my money!Atmosphere was warm and inviting. And the cashier was so helpful and personable.

My favorite brunch spot around. Usually I don’t like take out food as much as eating in a restaurant but I could live off of their take out.

Quickly turned into my go-to! My first time at the Redding location as I frequent the one in Red Bluff. But happy to report I received the same amazing service and enjoyed the same delicious chicken teriyaki bowl! This location is a bit smaller than RB & has a small parking lot, but there is more further in... just a small note the second lot is not well lit at night. The staff was friendly, welcoming and checked on me- I also ordered the fries which are totally addicting! There is a huge menu which I am hoping to move to different items but this bowl is too good!Served over a bed of white or brown rice with bell peppers, onions, mushrooms and sesame seeds. Well portioned too! I always have left overs. Will continue to come back when in the area! Thank you!

Over the years their chicken sandwich has gotten smaller and smaller to the point now the chicken breast is barely a chicken tinder and is cut paper thin. I get it, time are tight but your customers should not be penalized for that. To me it's a shady way to do business and dishonest. Cut one chicken breast into the slices for 3 sandwiches. I hate feeling like a Karen but this use to be a favorite lunch spot of mine and now it's trash.

Because I am a pie baker, I had not ever tried a pie from FTH…until today. My husband and I ordered a single/mini pumpkin pie tonight. It was so good! The crust tasted homemade, no rubbery or weird flavor at all. And the pumpkin filling was a beautiful, creamy consistency and spiced perfectly. Do not hesitate to buy a pie from FTH, they’re delicious!!

Really excellent selection of healthy foods! I had a really delicious Cobb salad, and my friends each had a different hamburger and sides. Many choices for a sides, my friends had regular fries, garlic fries and small salad. Yes they have pie but they are mini versions of pies, plus cheesecake bars, cookies. I believe the selection varies. Highly recommend, order at the counter, self serve drinks and they bring the food to you. It also appears to do a healthy take out/doordash business.

We tried the Chicken Pot Pie (a soup with a crust placed on top) and the Kahlua pork sandwich. Both are very good. We will return when we are in town.

The place is neat and clean, small in size - understandable due to the location it is at. We've been to Redding many times and this is the first time we tried this place. Service is fast and efficient. Staffs are friendly. I'm a little hesitant to dine here since its by a gas station but a friend recommended it so we give it a try. I got the TAB sandwich (forgot to take a pic of it, we're super hungry because it's late for lunch already). It was perfectly seasoned with everything, I love how the sauce is not so overpowering the other ingredients. The only thing is it's a little bit messy yo eat, chicken keeps on falling off the bun. But to say that we like this place is understatement coz we went back the next day for dinner, this time my hubby got the ahi salad and I got the barbecue chicken salad, our friends hit the black and blue salad and we all loved it. Of course we tried their pie, the only pie they had for the night was the blueberry. It's good, not too sweet. It's more of a cheesecake kind of dessert. This will be my favorite go to for sales and sandwiches in Redding.

Very good GF buns for their tasty burgers. Ordered fries at suggestion of counter person. They were crunchy and paired with their fry sauce -- very good. OOPS! Should have asked if GF. Both my partner and I had some issues this morning. Felt like we had tried to sneak some gluten into our diet and our bodies said, "naughty, naughty!" We survived; however, no more Hearth Kitchen and Pie Shop fries for us. One funny thing -- where were the pies?

Excellent place to eat! Our sandwiches were so good at lunch that we returned for dinner to try the salad and chicken pot pie since we were still in the area. I wish Vacaville, CA. had a sandwich shop as good as this!

Meh! Thought it was nice but nothing really special. Yes it's nice inside and the team was nice and helpful. Interior was nothing special, was a bit dirty as there were tables not wiped of and stuff on the floor. Very casual and very local. The food, Humm....... Well the pork was over salted and so much barely edible. The bowl it came in overall was not well balanced in seasoning with nothing but salt as it was overpowering. The ahi tuna bowl was dry and what dressing there was was too little. The base was bland and if it were not for the little bit of dressing it would have no flavor. The two desserts (a double chocolate chip cookie and a salted caramel apple pie) were not good at all. Looked good in the case however not the case. Cookie was like a rock and dried out. Not the brownie texture we were lead to believe. The Pie, was a teaspoon of some filling but mostly crust and that was like eating sand. The reason for two stars was just the service.

Been here several times before, however the service was less to be desired! First thing we were presented by was a women yelling at us, saying we are not longer serving breakfast, of course we new this?!? We arrived around 12:30 on Thursday 15, 2023 at the location on Churn Creek. 1292 College View-near Shasta College. I noticed she was not the one at the Register. She came from the back portion of the building/ kitchen, She seemed very disruptive as she walked back. I was so upset in how she approached us, I told my grand kids we need to go, I felt very uncomfortable at that time, I did not get her name, so we just walked out. I will be calling that location to make a complaint. I noticed there was a Ukraine sandwich on the menu?!?!? I WILL BE SPREADING THE WORD ON THAT ONE AS WELL.........................

THE FRENCH FRIES! THE FRENCH FRIES! Yes, I had the Chi Bowl (again) with tofu (AGAIN!) and it is filling and tasty. The kid did a Reuben and wife had the Cuban. BUT THE FRIES! Folks, you must try the fries. They are the best I have ever had. I actually measure everybody else's fries against these. The deserts are OK but not wow or exciting. Hey, did I mention THE FRIES?
