So I hit Redding roughly once every 3 months. The steakhouses available leave me whelmed. As in neither over nor under. Cattlemens is available a few hundred feet from my home and has been awful ever since the new owners took over. So I have a company credit card that pays for my meals. Lumberjack is Amazing for breakfast and lunch, but Redding suck when it comes to steaks. Third visit I asked the exceptionally attractive girl at the front desk of the Holiday Inn Express where did she recommend? Massive points for not recommending the shitty overpriced place next door, or the even shittier, even more overpriced place on the other side. She sent me to Grand Buffet. OMG! One of the best seafood buffet s I've ever experienced! Everything was good, but the crawdads are worth a special mention as they were actually seasoned correctly.

Service is great, food isn't very good. I ate about an hour ago and now I am sick to my stomach. Old sushi and old seafood. Many options have been taken away and food is mislabeled. Prices are now $20 an adult. Outrageous from their $12 adult prices where you at least got good meat.

The food seemed a little old, or not properly cooked. I felt bad bc I would fill my plate up, and I'd take a bite out of each item and it'd be wasted due to how bad it was. The squid was rubber, the won-ton was way over cooked, their sweet & sour tasted foul. Their green beans tasted good but were cold ..honestly majority of it was terrible, staff was nice, but definitely not worth $21 + tax. The place really has gone down hill...only thing that actually tasted good was the chicken on a stick and dessert. The staff was really nice though and kept the table clean.Also found out that Sunday's is a dinner all day, so it's Dinner prices, no matter how early you go.They also only had a small sushi section (was too afraid to try after tasting other foods) and there was no crab legs anymore :/

Salt and Pepper Shrimp is addictive! Egg rolls, crispy wontons, and teriyaki chicken skewers are good. Disappointed with the sushi. Salmon roll and Salmon Sushi were not fresh smelling or tasting. Desserts were good. Had not eaten here in years due to pandemic. Will go back again but not for the sushi. Enough good food to still enjoy. Staff friendly.
