“Excellent service! The fish was very fresh. Serving sizes were generous. Good filling to rice ratio. The restaurant seems to be a small hole in the wall and the ambiance was pretty standard for a sushi restaurant. Prices are fair. I have no complaints and I WILL be back!“

“It was delicious. My mother brought me for dinner to have something nice before today's back surgery (long longed for). It has been a long time since I was able to eat so heartily. Sitting at the grill and watching it prepared was a treat. I appreciated the help given to my mom in finding what she was wanting despite not knowing what it was called. Thank you. We will bring the rest of yhe family next time.Kid-friendliness: There is a kid menu but the chefs engage the kids and make it a special meal. Watching them brought back memories of long ago with my little brother.Wheelchair accessibility: I use a walker chair combo. We were very speedily seated in an accessible area and I was given the help I needed.“

“We came to Chu's too on a roadtrip because I think we were craving sushi and soup after a long hike and it was nearby. Honestly, it's pretty good for where it is, like I wasn't expecting AMAZING chinese/japanese food but it exists! I will say, it's not that great but the servers are really cute and I have a soft spot in my heart for these style of family owned chinese restaurants in these areas because you know they're trying their best with what they've got.“

“One of the places we eat at while working at Redding for the week. I had the drunken noodles, very tasty. I asked for Thai spicy, needed to add a little more to get the kick I was looking for. The dish itself had quite a bit of vegetables which is a plus plus. I ordered my dish with tofu in place of meat. My coworkers had the curry which they say was very good. Service is great and recommended other dishes as well. It would have been nice if I would have taken a photo of the dish. Definitely will be added to my list or places to eat while visiting.“

“This place is great and it used to be my favorite sushi place. However I've been hearing rumors that the original owner got caught child trafficking and did time, but now he's back and people have spotted him with an ankle monitor on. Suspicious and until these rumors are proven wrong, I will not be returning.“
