We came here for our 18th anniversary. We called ahead and got reservations. When we arrived we were seated promptly. The staff was very nice and the pasta was perfect. I got the chicken pesto special and my husband got the shrimp scampi. After looking at the pictures online I was a little concerned about the portion sizes, they are much larger than they appear in the photos. I was very pleased and had some to bring home as well.

We stopped at this restaurant as we were passing through town and had an overwhelmingly pleasant experience! Nice clean atmosphere, kind and friendly staff that went above and beyond, and amazing food, we will most certainly be back!

I have been there twice in the last month. The first time everything was absolutely delicious. The meal was good, the service was great, the wine was the great. The second time the service was good, the food was ok and the drinks were just ok. So you just have to figure out which night is the best night to go and stay away on the other ones. If it is the owner or the manager that left me a response I would be happy to share my experience with you I would just need an email or somewhere I could send it to. Thank you

If you are on Redding I would highly suggest this Italian restaurant. One of the best services I ever received. The food portions were really good. Food was very tasty. We asked them no meat pasta as we are vegetarian and they were kind enough to replace them with seasonal veggies which most of the restaurants don't, resulting in smaller portions. They quickly tended to all our baby's needs like cups with a swirly straw and cutlery for our one year old.

I really appreciate being able to call on a Friday night for a Saturday evening meal.The service was amazing, the server was very attentive to our needs having 3 great-grandkids with different dietary requirements. It was appreciated that they switched out French fries for carrot sticks.Everyone walked, waddled, away from the table, very content with their meal.The portions and quality were priced appropriately for the service.We will definitely be visiting on some of our future and frequent trips to Redding. The only downside to our visit is to have a better sign on the building...

Karline's is the best Italian restaurant in Redding. The ambiance is nice, clean and modern. The customer service is excellent. The food is amazing. The clams appetizer is my favorite. I love the chicken Marsala and piccata linguine. The dessert is delicious. Most of all they are consistent.
Had dinner there multiple times with a very large group and each time the service has been amazing. I forget the waiters name, but he wears glasses. He is very attentive to our needs and we never have to ask for refills. The food is outstanding! I'll admit I get the same thing every time cause I'm a creature of habit, but the ribeye has never let me down.
My wife and I tried Karlines for the first time. We were greeted and seated right away. Casey was our waiter. He was fantastic. Our son surprised us and brought along the grandkids. He reseated us at a larger table without question and severed us a delicious meal. Thanks for a great evening.

This is the second time we have gone to Karleen’s at 4 pm opening time without a reservation. The hostess always wants to place us at the very small table for two by the bathroom. I state I don’t want to sit there and she says all of the other tables are reserved. We leave at 5:15pm and only one table in the restaurant has customers. There were guests in the banquet room tonight. I just read previous reviews and the waitress we had tonight had good reviews, she was not friendly to us. Feels like we are in trouble for not making a reservation. No thanks.
