Been eating at this restaurant for as long as I can remember. For sure the best Chinese food in Redding California. Not the best Chinese food ever, but for Redding it doesn't get any better. A little pricey, but so is everything these days. Don't waste your time going anywhere else. This is the only Chinese food I will eat in Redding.

they have messed up on my order 4 times in the past couple months when it happens they seem busy answering the phone and taking another order before I was fully done with my orders the food is good mutch i really think they need an extra cashier for the busy days

This has been my favorite restaurant for decades. Even during the pandemic, they managed to offer meals via a safe window they created in the doorway and the quality did not suffer. Their prawns and vegetable combination is my go-to for a perfect meal, but everything I've had is always wonderful.

5 stars. A + review. Ordering take out for Valentines Day 2024 was flawless. The food was fresh and delicious. This was our fourth to-go order in the last year and everything has always been exceptional. Some favorites of ours are the Sizzling Rice soup (although with take-out the rice doesn't "sizzle" when you get home, but who cares it's still amazing) Prawns in Lobster Sauce, Mongolian Beef and the Chow Fun Noodles. Hands down, New China is the best for Chinese food in Redding.

Cute gem of a restaurant. Kind staff and fast service. I’ve ordered food through door dash for delivery, on the phone for pick up, and have eaten in a couple times! just finished dinner. excellent food. had steamed dumplings ie dim sum, seafood 3 flavors, and egg foo young. and a couple of beers. meal cost was about $60. each food was very well done. best I've had in Redding and I've lived and in this area a very long time. service was spot on. we will return.

I have been going here for years. At one point I believe it was sold or under new management. at that point, the food went downhill we stopped going however, in the last few years, we decided to give it a try again. Don't know if it went back to the old owners or cook, but the food has been outstanding. Their walnut prawns are just delicious. The wonton soup is fabulous, I love their lunch and dinner specials. Highly recommend.

I almost died because they gave me peanut butter instead of soy sauce and I had a allergic reaction and I almost died and a gen z was working there and didn't care less about me it took them 5 minutes just to call 911 I don't recommend to go to this restaurant if you're

This place is real funny when you put 0 on tip line after you pay they want to add money on the tip line when there's cash on the table these people are with the funny business.
